Hongseong signed an academic and student-exchange agreement with a nine-member delegation from Zhenjiang City, China, led by Deputy Secretary Liu Chun-an. Education officials accompanied the delegation. The delegation inspected coastal tourism infrastructure in Namtanghang and expressed interest in Ensung Zhenjiang’s automotive parts investment in China.
Delegations from Lesotho, South Africa, and Mozambique—26 members in total—participated in the Hongseong Organic Festa and experienced Korean traditional culture at Guhang Turtle Village.

Hongseong invited 62 participants from the U.S. military bases in Pyeongtaek and Osan. Participants toured the festival in hanbok and explored local barbecue cuisine and western coastal scenery.
