◆ 청양군, 청춘어울림센터 건립 본격 추진
충남 청양군이 읍내 3·4리 도시재생사업의 일환으로 청춘어울림센터 건립을 본격 추진했다. 청양군은 11월 4일 설계용역 착수보고회를 개최했다. 센터는 총사업비 81억4000여만원을 투입해 연면적 1451㎡, 지상 3층 규모로 조성된다.

◆ 주민·청년 대상 복합 이용시설 구성
센터는 사랑방, 공동작업장, 체력단련실, 취약계층 아동 돌봄공간, 인공지능 독서실, 청년 임대 사무실 등으로 구성된다. 청양군은 아동부터 고령층까지 모든 연령대가 이용 가능한 주민 소통·활동 시설로 운영할 계획이다.

◆ 도시재생사업 추진 배경
읍내 3·4리 도시재생사업은 2021년 국토교통부 공모사업 선정으로 총 143억원을 투입한다. 청양군은 노후주택과 골목길을 정비하고 복합 거점시설을 운영해 지역 공동체 중심의 도시재생 모델을 마련할 계획이다. 김돈곤 청양군수는 “청춘어울림센터는 변화와 혁신을 이끌 핵심 공간이 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.
