세종특별자치시(시장 최민호)는 11월 4일 세종보 인근에서 하천을 불법 점용한 환경단체를 세종남부경찰서에 고발했다.

세종시 관계자는 "하천 불법점용 행위에 대한 법적 제재를 통해 사회질서를 유지하고 공공이익 저해 요소를 차단하기 위한 조치"라고 밝혔다.
이어 "하천시설물을 보호하고 안전사고를 예방하기 위해 적법한 절차에 따라 조치했다"고 강조했다.
