보령시의회는 27일 제270회 임시회 제2차 본회의를 열고 시민 복지 증진과 지역 발전을 위한 안건 28건을 심의·의결했다.

의회는 이날 산후조리비용 지원 조례, 가족돌봄지원 조례, 보호대상아동 및 자립준비청년 지원 조례, 교통약자 이동편의 증진 조례 일부개정안 등을 처리했다.

'2025년도 하반기 주요사업장 방문 결과보고서 채택의 건'도 상정됐다. 의회는 17개 주요 사업장을 점검한 결과와 개선 의견을 공유했다.

최은순 의장은 "이번 회기는 시민의 삶과 직결된 조례안을 심의하고, 주요 사업 현장을 직접 점검해 시 발전 방향을 함께 모색한 시간이었다"고 말했다.

최 의장은 "웅천파크골프장 조성 등 일부 지연 사업에 대해서는 시민의 뜻이 신속히 행정에 반영되도록 의회와 집행부가 긴밀히 협력하겠다"고 밝혔다.

그는 "현장의 목소리를 의정활동에 적극 반영해 시민 불편을 최소화하고 행정 효율성을 높이겠다"며 "이번 임시회를 끝으로 주요 현안 점검을 마무리하고, 앞으로도 시민 중심의 실질적 의정활동을 이어가겠다"고 덧붙였다.

The Boryeong City Council held the second plenary session of the 270th extraordinary session on the 27th and deliberated and passed 28 agenda items for improving citizen welfare and regional development.

The council processed the ordinance on postpartum care cost support, the ordinance on family care support, the ordinance on support for children under protection and youth preparing for independence, and partial amendments to the ordinance on promoting mobility convenience for the transportation vulnerable.

The council also tabled "the adoption of the report on visits to major business sites in the second half of 2025." The council shared the results of inspections of 17 major business sites and improvement opinions.

Chairperson Choi Eun-soon said, "This session was a time to deliberate ordinances directly related to citizens' lives and to directly inspect major project sites to explore the direction of city development together."

Chairperson Choi stated, "For some delayed projects such as the construction of Ungcheon Park Golf Course, the council and the executive branch will cooperate closely so that citizens' will can be quickly reflected in administration."

She added, "We will actively reflect the voices of the field in legislative activities to minimize citizen inconvenience and increase administrative efficiency," and "With this extraordinary session, we will complete the inspection of major issues and continue practical citizen-centered legislative activities."
