충북 청주시가 복대동 복합개발사업의 우선협상대상자로 대우건설 컨소시엄을 선정했다.

청주시는 24일 사업 선정평가위원회가 전날 한국투자증권·대우건설 컨소시엄을 우선협상대상자로 선정했다고 밝혔다. 선정평가위원회는 한국투자증권·대우건설 컨소시엄과 메리츠증권·포스코이앤씨 컨소시엄이 제출한 사업계획서의 적정성과 수행능력 등을 평가했다.

우선협상대상자는 지방투자사업관리센터의 출자타당성 검토를 거쳐 내년 하반기 청주시와 프로젝트 금융투자회사(PFV)를 구성하게 된다. 청주시 출자 비율은 20%다.

이 회사는 흥덕구 복대동 일원 1만7087㎡ 규모의 대농2·3지구 상업8블록에 연면적 2만2000㎡ 이상의 공공시설과 아파트, 판매시설 등의 민간 수익시설을 건립할 계획이다.

공공시설에는 로컬푸드 직매장, 공공주차장, 어린이·청소년시설, 문화·집회시설 등이 들어선다. 착공 예정일은 2027년이다.

이 부지는 2006년 옛 대농공장을 도시개발한 신영에서 기부채납된 뒤 생활체육 야구장을 거쳐 공공주차장으로 사용되고 있다.

Cheongju City in North Chungcheong Province selected the Daewoo E&C consortium as the preferred bidder for the Bokdae-dong mixed-use development project.

Cheongju City announced on the 24th that the project selection evaluation committee selected the Korea Investment & Securities-Daewoo E&C consortium as the preferred bidder the previous day. The selection evaluation committee assessed the appropriateness of the business plans submitted by the Korea Investment & Securities-Daewoo E&C consortium and the Meritz Securities-POSCO E&C consortium, as well as their implementation capabilities.

The preferred bidder will undergo a review of investment feasibility by the Local Investment Business Management Center and form a project finance vehicle (PFV) with Cheongju City in the second half of next year. Cheongju City's investment ratio is 20%.

The company plans to construct public facilities with a total floor area of more than 22,000㎡ and private revenue facilities such as apartments and sales facilities in Commercial Block 8 of Daenong Districts 2 and 3, covering 17,087㎡ in the Bokdae-dong area of Heungdeok-gu.

Public facilities will include a local food direct sales store, public parking lot, children's and youth facilities, and cultural and assembly facilities. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2027.

This site was donated in 2006 by Sinyoung, which developed the former Daenong factory site into an urban area, and has been used as a community sports baseball field and is currently used as a public parking lot.
