◆ 중기부 평가 최우수 등급 획득
충북 괴산군은 괴산전통시장이 중소벤처기업부와 소상공인시장진흥공단의 2025년도 디지털전통시장 육성사업 성과평가에서 최우수 등급을 받았다고 12일 밝혔다. 이번 평가는 2025년 디지털전통시장 육성 첫걸음 사업 대상지로 선정된 전국 20곳을 대상으로 진행됐다. 괴산전통시장은 온라인 매출액 증감률, 입점 증감률, 자료 제출기한 준수율 등 정량평가와 디지털 전환 성과, 자생력 강화, 역량 강화 등 정성평가에서 우수한 성적을 거뒀다.
◆ 상인 디지털 역량 강화 집중
괴산전통시장은 디지털 전환을 위해 상인 대상 컨설팅과 교육을 실시했다. 참여 점포와 상품을 발굴했으며 온라인 채널 진출을 지원했다. 군은 4월부터 11월까지 괴산시장 다목적광장에서 매월 2차례 오일장 날을 활용한 정기 문화공연을 연다. 매주 토요일 토요장터를 운영해 농특산물, 수공예품 판매와 플리마켓 등 지역 상권 활성화 사업을 추진한다.
◆ 시설현대화 사업 선정
괴산전통시장은 2026년 전통시장 시설현대화 사업에 선정돼 공영주차장 보수 사업비를 확보했다. 중소벤처기업부 시장경영지원사업에도 선정됐다. 송인헌 군수는 "디지털전통시장 육성사업 추진으로 온라인 고객을 확보하고 전통시장에 새로운 활기를 불어넣는 발판을 마련했다"며 "사업 효과가 지속되어 활기찬 전통시장을 만들 수 있도록 지속적인 지원과 노력을 아끼지 않겠다"고 밝혔다.

◆ Top Grade in Ministry of SMEs Evaluation
Goesan-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do announced on the 12th that Goesan Traditional Market received the top grade in the 2025 Digital Traditional Market Development Project performance evaluation conducted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Enterprise and Market Service. The evaluation was conducted on 20 markets nationwide selected as targets for the 2025 Digital Traditional Market Development First Step Project. Goesan Traditional Market achieved excellent results in quantitative evaluations such as online sales growth rate, tenant growth rate, and data submission deadline compliance rate, as well as qualitative evaluations including digital transformation performance, self-sustainability enhancement, and capacity building.
◆ Focus on Merchant Digital Capacity Building
Goesan Traditional Market conducted consulting and training for merchants for digital transformation. The market discovered participating stores and products and supported entry into online channels. The county will hold regular cultural performances twice a month from April to November at the Goesan Market multipurpose plaza, utilizing the five-day market days. The county will operate a Saturday market every Saturday to promote local commercial areas through sales of agricultural specialty products, handicrafts, and flea markets.
◆ Selected for Facility Modernization Project
Goesan Traditional Market was selected for the 2026 Traditional Market Facility Modernization Project and secured project funds for repairing the public parking lot. The market was also selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups Market Management Support Project. County Governor Song In-heon stated, "Through the Digital Traditional Market Development Project, we have secured online customers and laid the groundwork for bringing new vitality to the traditional market. We will spare no effort in providing continuous support so that the project effects can continue and create a vibrant traditional market."
