◆ 최고위원 보선 결과 발표

더불어민주당 최고위원 보궐선거에서 강득구·이성윤·문정복 후보가 11일 당선됐다. 김정호 민주당 선거관리위원장은 이날 오후 국회 의원회관에서 투개표 결과를 발표했다. 이번 보궐선거는 중앙위원 50%·권리당원 50% 투표 방식으로 치러졌다.

◆ 후보별 득표 현황

강득구 후보는 중앙위원 375표, 권리당원 25만8,537표를 얻어 득표율 30.74%로 1위를 차지했다. 이성윤 후보는 중앙위원 181표, 권리당원 31만2,724표로 득표율 24.72%를 기록했다. 문정복 후보는 중앙위원 293표, 권리당원 20만773표를 얻어 득표율 23.95%로 3위로 당선됐다. 이건태 후보는 중앙위원 245표, 권리당원 17만8,572표로 득표율 20.59%를 기록해 낙선했다.

◆ 당선자 계파 분류 및 의미

강득구 의원은 친이재명계로 분류된다. 이성윤·문정복 의원은 친정청래계로 분류된다. 친청계 후보 2명 당선으로 정청래 대표 체제에 힘이 실릴 전망이다. 당선된 최고위원 3명은 지방선거 출마를 준비하는 이들이 사퇴하면서 생긴 공석을 채운다.

강득구 후보는 "지방선거에서 압도적으로 민주당이 승리할 수 있도록 힘을 모으겠다"고 밝혔다. 이성윤 후보는 "내란 청산, 검찰·법원 개혁, 지선 승리, 조희대 수사 촉구 등 당원들 요구를 마음 깊이 새기겠다"고 말했다. 문정복 후보는 "정청래 지도부의 단단한 결속으로 이재명 정부의 성공을 견인하겠다"고 밝혔다. 이건태 후보는 "당선된 3명 진심으로 축하드린다. 당에서 주어진 임무라면 무엇이든 맡아 열심히 하겠다"고 말했다.

◆ 정청래 대표 발언

정청래 민주당 대표는 "선거 과정에서 마음의 상처가 있었다면 이 시간 이후로 지워주시길 바란다"고 당부했다. 정 대표는 "6·3 지선을 승리하고 이재명 정부 성공을 위해 원팀, 원보이스로 팀플레이 하겠다"고 밝혔다.

◆ By-Election Results Announced

Kang Deuk-gu, Lee Seong-yoon, and Moon Jeong-bok won the Democratic Party of Korea Supreme Council by-election on January 11. Kim Jeong-ho, chairman of the Democratic Party Election Management Committee, announced the vote count results at the National Assembly Members' Office Building that afternoon. The by-election used a voting system with 50% weight for Central Committee members and 50% for registered party members.

◆ Vote Tallies by Candidate

Kang Deuk-gu received 375 votes from Central Committee members and 258,537 votes from registered party members, ranking first with 30.74% of total votes. Lee Seong-yoon received 181 Central Committee votes and 312,724 party member votes for a 24.72% vote share. Moon Jeong-bok received 293 Central Committee votes and 200,773 party member votes, finishing third with 23.95%. Lee Geon-tae received 245 Central Committee votes and 178,572 party member votes, losing with 20.59%.

◆ Factional Affiliations and Implications

Kang Deuk-gu is classified as pro-Lee Jae-myung. Lee Seong-yoon and Moon Jeong-bok are classified as pro-Chung Chung-rae. The election of two pro-Chung candidates is expected to strengthen Party Leader Chung Chung-rae's leadership. The three newly elected Supreme Council members fill vacancies created by resignations of those preparing to run in local elections.

Kang Deuk-gu stated he would "unite efforts so the Democratic Party wins overwhelmingly in the local elections." Lee Seong-yoon said he would "deeply remember party members' demands for clearing the insurrection, reforming prosecutors and courts, winning local elections, and investigating Cho Hee-dae." Moon Jeong-bok stated she would "lead the success of the Lee Jae-myung government through solid unity of the Chung Chung-rae leadership." Lee Geon-tae said "I sincerely congratulate the three winners. I will take on any task assigned by the party and work hard."

Democratic Party Leader Chung Chung-rae asked members to "let go of any emotional wounds from the election process from this moment on." Chung stated the party would "work as one team with one voice to win the June 3 local elections and ensure the success of the Lee Jae-myung government."
