청주흥덕경찰서가 졸업시즌을 맞아 중학교를 대상으로 건전한 졸업문화 정착 캠페인을 실시했다.

흥덕경찰서(서장 임종명)는 1월 7일부터 9일까지 3일간 서경중학교를 포함한 관내 중학교 3곳을 방문해 졸업식 관련 비행예방 활동을 전개했다고 밝혔다.

◆ 학교전담경찰관, 3개 중학교 집중 점검

여성청소년과 학교전담경찰관은 졸업식을 앞둔 학교들을 직접 찾아가 학생들을 대상으로 홍보활동을 펼쳤다. 1월 9일 오전 9시부터 오후 2시까지 서경중학교에서 진행된 캠페인에서는 건전한 졸업문화 정착과 방학기간 청소년 비행 예방을 위한 교육을 실시했다.

◆ 강압적 뒤풀이·사이버도박 등 집중 단속

경찰은 졸업시즌 발생 가능한 강압적 뒤풀이 행위를 단속하고 청소년 비행 우려 지역을 집중 순찰했다. 최근 사회문제로 대두된 사이버도박 등 청소년 범죄 예방에도 중점을 뒀다.

◆ "학교·학부모 지속적 관심 필요"

임종명 청주흥덕경찰서장은 "건전한 졸업식 문화 정착을 위해 학교와 학부모의 지속적인 관심이 필요하다"며 "앞으로도 건전한 졸업문화를 위한 활동을 지속하겠다"고 말했다.
