충청북도 보은군은 2025년 하반기 동안 군정 발전과 군민 편익 증진에 성과를 거둔 공무원 5명을 으뜸공무원으로 선정했다고 12월 31일 밝혔다.

◆ 5명 선정 경과

보은군은 총 15명이 추천된 공무원 중 엄정한 심사를 거쳐 5명을 최종 선정했다. 으뜸공무원 제도는 공모사업 선정, 선제적 아이디어 발굴, 고충민원 처리, 정책 발굴 및 예산 절감, 역점 시책 추진 등 업무 성과가 뛰어난 공무원을 대상으로 운영된다. 선정자는 표창장과 국내 연수 기회를 부여받는다.

◆ 각 부서별 선정 인원 및 성과

주민행복과 이미정 청소년팀장은 청소년 수요를 반영한 프로그램 운영과 정책 발굴을 추진했으며 청소년정책 분야 공모사업 성과를 이끌어냈다. 문화관광과 이선화 관광정책팀장은 2025 보은대추축제를 안전사고 없이 성공적으로 운영하며 지역 축제의 안전성과 완성도를 높였다. 기획감사실 김도경 주무관은 군정 방침과 비전이 현장에서 원활히 실행되도록 주요 업무계획과 실적 관리를 체계적으로 추진했다. 복지정책과 지현기 주무관은 충청북도남부보훈지청과의 업무협약을 통해 통합보훈회관 건립을 추진하며 보훈문화 확산에 앞장섰다. 산림녹지과 김윤지 주무관은 가로경관 조성사업과 테마화단 조성, 가로수 정비를 통해 도시 이미지를 개선했다.

◆ 향후 계획

최재형 보은군수는 "군민을 위한 현장 중심의 행정과 책임 있는 업무 추진이 보은을 발전시키고 있다"며 "성과와 노력에 합당한 평가를 통해 적극행정 문화가 조직 전반에 확산되도록 하겠다"고 밝혔다. 보은군은 매년 상반기와 하반기에 으뜸공무원을 선발해 우수 공직자를 격려하고 성과 중심의 책임 행정을 강화할 계획이다.

◆ Departmental Selection and Individual Achievements

Lee Mi-jeong, Head of Youth Team at the Department of Resident Happiness, developed youth programs reflecting community demand and achieved outstanding results in youth policy competitive projects. Lee Sun-hwa, Head of Tourism Policy Team at the Department of Culture and Tourism, successfully operated the 2025 Boeun Jujube Festival without safety incidents, enhancing both safety and completeness of regional festivals. Kim Do-kyung, Official at the Planning and Audit Office, systematically promoted major business plans and performance management to ensure smooth implementation of county policies and vision in the field. Ji Hyun-ki, Official at the Department of Welfare Policy, advanced veterans culture promotion by pursuing integrated veterans hall construction through business agreements with the Chungcheongbuk Province Southern Veterans Affairs Service. Kim Yun-ji, Official at the Department of Forest and Green Spaces, improved the city's image through street landscape projects, themed flower bed creation, and street tree maintenance.

◆ Future Plans

Choi Jae-hyung, Boeun County Governor, stated: "Field-oriented administration for residents and responsible work implementation advance Boeun's development. We will ensure active administrative culture spreads throughout the organization through fair evaluation commensurate with performance and effort." Boeun County plans to continue selecting outstanding civil servants in both first and second halves of each year to encourage excellent public officials and strengthen performance-centered responsible administration.
