농협은행 충북본부와 월용리 마을은 2003년 자매결연을 체결했다. 양측은 22년간 교류 활동을 이어오고 있다.

◆ 지역사회 기여 활동 확대 약속

도정선 동청주농협 조합장은 "난방비 지원은 지역민들에게 실질적인 도움이 될 것"이라며 "동청주농협도 사회공헌 활동을 이어가며 모두가 함께 행복한 농촌을 만드는 데 기여하겠다"고 말했다. 임세빈 본부장은 "자매결연 마을의 따뜻한 겨울나기에 조금이나마 도움이 되고자 이번 행사를 마련했다"며 "농협은행 충북본부는 지역사회 기여 활동을 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 계획"이라고 밝혔다.
