◆ AI 융합교육 전문과정 신입생 44명 연수 실시

세종특별자치시교육청(교육감 권한대행 부교육감 구연희)은 교육대학원 연계 인공지능(AI) 융합교육 전문과정 신입생 44명 대상 오리엔테이션 및 집중 연수를 운영했다. 연수는 11월 17일(월), 11월 29일(토), 12월 6일(토) 총 3일간 진행됐다.

◆ 3단계 로드맵으로 교사 성장 지원

세종시교육청은 이번 연수를 교사 성장 위한 3단계 로드맵으로 구성했다. 1단계 네트워크 구축에서는 재학생들이 대학원 경험과 학교 현장 적용 사례를 신입생과 공유하며 협력적 학습 공동체 기반을 마련했다. 2단계 기초역량 강화에서는 파이썬 프로그래밍 및 머신러닝 기초 실습을 통해 대학원 수업 진행에 필요한 기본 역량을 갖추도록 지원했다. 3단계 현장 적용 실습에서는 교육용 블록코딩 실습과 AI 활용 수업 연수로 학교 현장에서 즉시 실천 가능한 학습 콘텐츠를 중심으로 진행했다.

조윤경 교사는 "오리엔테이션을 통해 동기들과 네트워크를 만들고 선배 교사들의 실제 팁도 들을 수 있어 큰 도움이 됐다"며 "배운 내용을 학교 현장의 변화로 연결할 수 있도록 노력하겠다"고 말했다.

◆ 대학원 연구 성과 학교 현장에 확산

정종필 학교정책과장은 "AI 융합교육 전문과정 신입생은 초등교사뿐 아니라 다양한 교과의 중등교사로 구성돼 폭넓은 협력 학습이 가능하다"고 설명했다. 정 과장은 "이번 프로그램이 신입생들의 AI 융합교육 전문성 강화 발판이 되고 재학생과 신입생 간 활발한 소통과 협력이 현장의 AI 융합교육 활성화로 이어지길 기대한다"고 강조했다.

세종시교육청은 AI 융합교육 전문과정 재학생들이 연구한 AI 융합수업을 교내외 교사들에게 공개해 대학원에서 배운 내용을 학교 현장 교육으로 확산할 수 있도록 지속 지원하고 있다.

◆ 44 New Students Complete AI Convergence Education Training

Sejong Special Self-Governing City Office of Education (Acting Superintendent Koo Yeon-hee) conducted orientation and intensive training for 44 new students in the AI convergence education program linked to the graduate school of education. The training was held over three days on November 17 (Monday), November 29 (Saturday), and December 6 (Saturday).

◆ Three-Stage Roadmap Supports Teacher Development

Sejong City Office of Education designed the training as a three-stage roadmap for teacher development. In Stage 1, network building, current students shared their graduate school experiences and school application cases with new students to establish a cooperative learning community. In Stage 2, basic competency building, Python programming and machine learning basics were taught to equip participants with fundamental skills needed for graduate courses. In Stage 3, field application practice, educational block coding and AI-based lesson training focused on learning content immediately applicable in schools.

Teacher Jo Yun-kyung said, "The orientation helped me build a network with fellow students and learn practical tips from senior teachers. I will work to connect what I learned to changes in school settings."

◆ Graduate Research Results to Spread to School Sites

School Policy Division Chief Jeong Jong-pil explained, "The AI convergence education program includes not only elementary teachers but also secondary teachers from various subjects, enabling broad collaborative learning." Jeong added, "I expect this program to serve as a foundation for new students to strengthen their AI convergence education expertise and that active communication between current and new students will lead to the activation of AI convergence education in the field."

Sejong City Office of Education continues to support the spread of AI convergence lessons researched by current students to teachers inside and outside schools, enabling graduate school learning to extend to actual school education.
