아동친화정책 업무추진단은 김영관 논산시 부시장을 단장으로 한다. 아동정책 관련 부서장 등 20명이 참여한다. 업무추진단은 연 2회 정기 회의를 운영한다. 2차 회의에서 아동 관련 주요 사업 진행 상황을 점검했다.
◆ 아동참여위원회 조례 4건 정책 제안 2건 검토
아동참여위원회는 관내 아동 40명으로 구성됐다. 위원회는 정기 모임과 토론을 통해 아동정책을 제안한다. 시정 과정에 직접 참여하는 아동 중심 정책 기구다. 올해 조례 제·개정 4건과 정책 제안 2건 검토 결과를 시에 보고했다.
김영관 논산시 부시장은 "오늘 회의는 우리 시 아동정책 실효성을 높이는 뜻깊은 시간"이라며 "아동 목소리가 시정에 반영되도록 각 부서 적극적인 협업과 소통을 당부드린다"고 말했다.

◆ Child Participation Committee Reviews 4 Ordinances and 2 Policy Proposals
The Child Participation Committee consists of 40 children from the city. The committee proposes child policies through regular meetings and discussions. It is a child-centered policy organization that directly participates in city administration. This year the committee reported review results of 4 ordinance revisions and 2 policy proposals to the city.
