◆ 전교생 대상 1박 2일 문화예술 캠프 운영
속리산중학교(교장 김성은)는 4일(목)과 5일(금) 이틀간 서울 일원과 경기도 용인 에버랜드에서 전교생 대상 문화예술 캠프를 운영했다. 이번 캠프는 학생들이 전통문화와 예술 활동을 직접 체험하며 창의력과 문화예술 소양을 기르도록 기획됐다. 김미현 음악 교사가 프로그램 총괄을 맡았다.
◆ 경복궁 탐방·뮤지컬 페인터즈 관람
첫날 학생들은 조선왕조 정치·문화 중심지였던 경복궁을 방문했다. 학생들은 근정전과 경회루 등 주요 전각의 건축미를 감상하며 한국 전통미를 체험했다. 이어 경향아트힐에서 뮤지컬 '페인터즈'를 관람했다. 학생들은 라이브 드로잉과 미디어 퍼포먼스가 결합된 무대를 직접 보며 예술적 몰입감을 높였다. 2학년 김하정 학생은 "친구들과 한복을 입고 궁궐을 걸으니 특별한 경험이었다"며 "페인터즈 공연에서 첨단기술과 예술이 결합해 새로운 형태로 완성되는 과정이 신기했다"고 말했다.
◆ 에버랜드 체험학습으로 마무리
둘째 날 학생들은 에버랜드에서 테마파크와 생태·글로벌 문화 공간을 둘러보며 생태 감수성과 문화다양성 이해를 넓혔다. 김성은 교장은 "전통 궁궐 체험과 예술 퍼포먼스, 놀이 체험이 결합된 프로그램을 통해 학생들의 창의성과 융합적 사고를 확대하고자 했다"며 "이번 캠프가 학생들에게 미래형 문화콘텐츠 개발의 영감을 주는 계기가 되길 바란다"고 말했다. 속리산중학교는 앞으로도 학생 진로 개발과 공동체 성장을 위한 체험 중심 교육 활동을 지속 운영할 계획이다.

◆ Two-Day Culture and Arts Camp for All Students
Songni Mountain Middle School (Principal Kim Seong-eun) held a culture and arts camp for all students on December 4 (Thursday) and 5 (Friday) in Seoul and Everland in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. The camp was designed to help students develop creativity and cultural literacy through hands-on experiences with traditional culture and arts activities. Music teacher Kim Mi-hyun oversaw the program.
◆ Gyeongbokgung Palace Tour and Musical 'Painters' Performance
On the first day, students visited Gyeongbokgung Palace, the political and cultural center of the Joseon Dynasty. Students appreciated the architectural beauty of major halls including Geunjeongjeon and Gyeonghoeru and experienced traditional Korean aesthetics. Students then watched the musical 'Painters' at Kyunghyang Art Hill. Students enhanced their artistic immersion by watching a stage combining live drawing and media performance. Second-year student Kim Ha-jeong said, "It was a special experience walking through the palace wearing hanbok with friends," adding, "It was amazing to see how cutting-edge technology and art combined to create a new form at the Painters performance."
◆ Camp Concludes with Everland Field Trip
On the second day, students toured theme parks and ecological and global cultural spaces at Everland, broadening their ecological sensitivity and understanding of cultural diversity. Principal Kim Seong-eun said, "We aimed to expand students' creativity and convergent thinking through a program combining traditional palace experiences, art performances, and recreational activities," adding, "I hope this camp will inspire students to develop future cultural content." Songni Mountain Middle School plans to continue operating experience-based educational activities to support student career development and community growth.
