◆ 홍주문화회관서 2025 농어촌 우리동네 예술학교 발표회 개최

충남교육청은 12월 4일 홍주문화회관에서 '2025 농어촌 우리동네 예술학교 수업활동 발표회'를 개최했다. 이번 행사는 문화예술교육 접근 기회가 부족한 농어촌 학생들에게 질 높은 예술교육을 제공하고 운영 성과를 공유하기 위해 마련했다. 보령, 서산, 논산계룡, 당진, 부여, 청양, 태안 등 7개 교육지원청이 참여했다.

◆ 합창·뮤지컬·밴드 공연과 전통공예 전시 진행

학생들은 여는 공연을 시작으로 합창, 뮤지컬, 방송댄스, 밴드 공연을 선보였다. 전시 공간에서는 한국전통공예, 생활공예, 레진아트 작품을 전시했다. 참여 학생은 "평소 접하기 어려운 예술 수업을 꾸준히 배우며 자신감이 생겼다"고 말했다. 학부모는 "농어촌에서도 수준 높은 예술교육을 받을 수 있어 의미 있다"고 전했다.

◆ 2026년 농어촌 예술교육 생태계 확대 추진

김지철 충남교육감은 "농어촌 우리동네 예술학교는 지역 격차를 넘어 모든 학생이 예술을 통해 성장하도록 돕는 교육사업"이라며 "학생들이 보여준 열정과 성취는 충남교육이 추구하는 행복한 배움의 모습"이라고 밝혔다. 충남교육청은 2026년에도 농어촌 대상 예술학교 프로그램 확대, 지역 예술강사 및 전문기관 협력 강화, 마을 기반 창작 공간 연계 교육 프로그램 개발을 추진할 계획이다.

◆ 2025 Rural Neighborhood Art School Performance Held at Hongju Culture Center

The Chungnam Office of Education held the '2025 Rural Neighborhood Art School Class Activity Performance' at Hongju Culture Center on December 4. This event was organized to provide high-quality arts education to rural students with limited access to cultural arts education and to share operational results. Seven education support offices participated, including Boryeong, Seosan, Nonsan-Gyeryong, Dangjin, Buyeo, Cheongyang, and Taean.

◆ Choir, Musical, Band Performances and Traditional Craft Exhibitions Held

Students performed opening performances followed by choir, musical, K-pop dance, and band performances. The exhibition space displayed Korean traditional crafts, lifestyle crafts, and resin art works. A participating student said, "I gained confidence by steadily learning art classes that are usually hard to access." A parent said, "It is meaningful that children can receive high-quality arts education even in rural areas."

◆ Expansion of Rural Arts Education Ecosystem Planned for 2026

Kim Ji-cheol, Superintendent of the Chungnam Office of Education, said, "The Rural Neighborhood Art School is an educational project that helps all students grow through art beyond regional gaps," and added, "The passion and achievements shown by students today represent the 'happy learning' that Chungnam education pursues." The Chungnam Office of Education plans to expand arts school programs for rural areas, strengthen cooperation with local arts instructors and professional institutions, and develop village-based creative space-linked education programs in 2026.
