음성군이 2025년 충청북도 노인일자리 창출 우수 시군 평가에서 최우수 시군으로 선정됐다. 28일 음성군 발표에 따르면 군은 이 평가에서 상사업비 1억원을 확보했다. 음성군은 지난 9월 보건복지부가 주최한 노인일자리 사업 평가에서 최우수 지자체상과 선도모델 협력기관 대상을 동시에 수상한 데 이어 도 차원의 최우수 평가까지 받았다.

음성군이 노인일자리 사업에 2022년 최우수상, 2024년 우수상에 이어 올해 최우수상을 연속 수상한 배경은 지속적 예산 투입이다. 군은 올해 노인일자리 사업에 161억원을 투입해 4235개의 일자리를 제공했다. 추가로 노인일자리 선도모델사업인 음성형노인일자리 사업에 군비 3억2000만원을 투입해 140명의 추가 일자리를 발굴했다.
◆ 상사업비 1억원, 노인여가복지시설 기능 보강에 활용
이번 평가 결과로 확보한 상사업비 1억원은 노인여가복지시설 기능 보강 등에 사용될 예정이다. 조병옥 음성군수는 "공공분야뿐만 아니라 민간 분야까지 노인일자리 확대를 위해 노력한 결과"라며 "앞으로 어르신들의 다양한 일자리를 발굴·확대해 품격 있는 건강한 노후의 삶을 지원하겠다"고 말했다.

Additionally, by investing 320 million won in the Eumseong-style Senior Employment pilot project, the county identified 140 additional employment opportunities.
◆ 100 Million Won Incentive Budget Directed to Senior Leisure and Welfare Facility Enhancement
The 100 million won in incentive business budget secured through this evaluation will be allocated to senior leisure and welfare facility function enhancement projects. County Governor Cho Byeong-ok stated, "This achievement reflects our collective effort to expand senior employment opportunities in both public and private sectors," and added, "We will continue to develop and expand diverse job opportunities for seniors to support dignified and healthy later years."
