◆ 상담 우수상 수상

부여교육지원청(교육장 황석연) Wee센터는 11월 21일 제14회 위(Wee)희망대상 시상식에서 학생-상담담당자 부문 우수상을 수상했다. 상담교사 김지현과 학생이 2인 1조로 제출한 상담사례가 교육부·한국청소년정책연구원의 평가를 받은 결과다.

◆ Wee 프로젝트의 역할

위(Wee) 희망대상 시상식은 매해 위(Wee) 프로젝트로 위기 상황 극복 학생 및 지원 기관의 우수 사례를 발굴·확산한다. 교육부·시도교육청은 위클래스(학교 단위), 위센터(교육지원청 단위), 위스쿨(교육청 단위)을 통해 학업중단 위기, 교우관계 갈등, 학교폭력 피해 학생을 지원한다.

◆ 전문상담 8명 체계운영

부여교육지원청 Wee센터는 부여교육지원청 3층에 위치하며 전문상담자 8명이 배치됐다. 전화상담, 내방상담, 이동상담, 순회상담을 학교 의뢰·학부모 신청으로 운영한다. 야간상담은 맞벌이 가정을 위해 예약(043-830-8293, 8292~8)으로 진행한다. 황석연 교육장은 "상담교사의 열정과 전문성이 학생의 긍정적 변화를 이끌었다"며 "부여 Wee센터가 학교 부적응 예방과 학생 심리건강 지원을 주도적으로 수행하겠다"고 말했다.

Buyeo Education Support Office (Education Director Hwang Seok-yeon) Wee Center won excellence award in the student-counselor division at the 14th Wee Hope Award ceremony on November 21. A counseling case submitted as a two-person team by counselor Kim Ji-hyun and a student received evaluation from the Ministry of Education and Korea Youth Policy Institute.

◆ Role of Wee Project

The Wee Hope Award ceremony annually discovers and disseminates excellent cases of students overcoming crisis situations through the Wee project and supporting institutions. The Ministry of Education and provincial offices of education support students facing academic dropout risks, peer relationship conflicts, and school violence through Wee Class (school level), Wee Center (education support office level), and Wee School (provincial office level).

◆ Professional Counseling System with 8 Counselors

Buyeo Education Support Office Wee Center operates with 8 professional counselors located on the 3rd floor of Buyeo Education Support Office. It provides phone counseling, in-person counseling, mobile counseling, and visiting counseling through school referrals and parent applications. Evening counseling operates by reservation (043-830-8293, 8292~8) to support dual-income families. Education Director Hwang Seok-yeon said, "Counseling teachers' passion and expertise led to positive changes in students," adding "Buyeo Wee Center will take the lead in preventing school maladjustment and supporting students' mental health."
