◆ 케어팜, 지역 나눔문화 확산 주도
생거진천 케어팜(대표 이장호)은 11월 19일 충청북도 진천군에서 '2025 생거진천 케어팜 김장축제'를 개최했다. 행사는 지역 복지 소외계층과 복지사각 지대에 거주하는 100가구에 김장김치를 전달하기 위해 마련됐다. 케어팜이 직접 재배한 배추와 지역사회에서 모은 농산물을 활용해 김장김치를 담갔다.
◆ 진천군 4-H 연합회, 배추 1,500포기 및 성금 100만원 후원
진천군 4-H 연합회(회장 성기빈)는 배추 1,500포기와 성금 100만원을 후원했다. 현장에는 대한적십자봉사회 진천군지구협의회, 진천군여성단체협의회, 한국장애인부모회 진천군지부, 이월로타리클럽, 대한노인회 진천군지회, 진천군노인복지관 선암회 등 7개 기관·단체와 자원봉사자, 지역 주민 100여 명이 참여했다. 송기섭 진천군수는 "지역 단체와 주민들이 어려운 이웃을 위해 정성껏 준비해준 데 감사한다"고 말했다.
◆ 다문화가족 25명, 김장 체험과 나눔 동시 진행
같은 날 진천군가족센터는 군 여성회관에서 다문화가족 25명을 대상으로 '김장 체험과 사랑의 김장 나눔' 행사를 진행했다. 참여자들은 한국의 전통문화를 체험하면서 각국의 음식문화를 공유했다. 행사 후 직접 만든 김장김치로 공동 점심식사를 했고, 오후에는 지역 내 취약계층 30가정에 김장김치를 전달했다. 참여한 다문화가족은 "한국의 가족문화를 이해하는 데 도움이 됐고, 직접 만든 김장을 이웃과 나누며 보람을 느꼈다"고 밝혔다.

◆ Care Farm Leads Community Sharing Culture Expansion
Saengeo Jincheon Care Farm (CEO Lee Jang-ho) held the '2025 Saengeo Jincheon Care Farm Kimchi Festival' on November 19 in Jincheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do Province. The event was organized to deliver homemade kimchi to 100 households of welfare-disadvantaged residents and those in welfare blind spots. The care farm used napa cabbages it cultivated directly and agricultural products collected from the local community to prepare the kimchi.
◆ Jincheon-gun 4-H Federation Donates 1,500 Napa Cabbages and 1 Million Won
The Jincheon-gun 4-H Federation (Chairman Sung Ki-bin) donated 1,500 napa cabbages and 1 million won in cash. The event was attended by approximately 100 people, including members from seven organizations and institutions such as the Korean Red Cross Jincheon-gun District Council, Jincheon-gun Women's Organizations Council, Korean Association of Parents with Disabilities Jincheon-gun Branch, Iwol Rotary Club, Korean Senior Citizens Association Jincheon-gun Branch, and Jincheon-gun Senior Welfare Center Seonam Group, as well as volunteers and local residents. Jincheon-gun County Administrator Song Ki-seop said, "I deeply appreciate the local organizations and residents for carefully preparing kimchi for neighbors in need."
◆ Multicultural Families Experience Kimchi-Making and Sharing
On the same day, the Jincheon-gun Family Center held a 'Kimchi Experience and Love Kimchi Sharing' event at the County Women's Hall with the participation of approximately 25 multicultural families. Participants experienced Korea's traditional culture while sharing food cultures from their respective countries. After the event, participants shared a warm lunch meal with the homemade kimchi they made. In the afternoon, the kimchi was delivered to 30 vulnerable households in the local community. Participating multicultural families stated, "The experience helped us better understand Korean family culture, and we felt a great sense of accomplishment in sharing the kimchi we made with our neighbors."
