보은삼산초등학교는 18일 화요일 전교생을 대상으로 네페스 루아오케스트라 초청 공연을 장애인식개선교육의 일환으로 개최했다.
◆ 오케스트라 개요 및 공연 진행
네페스 루아오케스트라는 충청북도 최초의 중증발달장애인 오케스트라다. 이번 공연은 음악 감상을 넘어 장애와 비장애의 경계를 제거하고 상호 이해를 도모하기 위해 기획됐다. 공연을 지휘한 김남진 예술감독은 "다름은 틀림이 아니라 새로운 조화를 만드는 힘"이라는 메시지를 전달했다.
◆ 참가 학생 반응
공연 참석 학생들은 즉각적 반응을 보였다. 1학년 학생은 "소리가 훌륭했다"고 했고, 4학년 학생은 "장애가 있어도 우수한 연주가 가능하다"고 했다. 6학년 학생은 "편견 없이 서로를 대해야 한다"고 전했다.
◆ 학교 방침 및 향후 계획
정수정 교장은 "학생들이 상호 다름을 이해하고 존중하는 마음을 개발하는 기회가 되기를 바란다"고 말했다. 보은삼산초등학교는 학생들이 더 넓은 시각으로 세상을 보고 서로를 존중하며 함께 성장할 수 있는 교육활동을 지속할 계획이다.

Boeun Samsan Elementary School held a Nepes Rua Orchestra performance on Tuesday, the 18th, for all students as part of disability awareness education.
◆ Orchestra Overview and Performance
Nepes Rua Orchestra is Chungcheongbuk-do's first orchestra composed of people with severe developmental disabilities. The performance was designed to transcend music appreciation and remove boundaries between disabled and non-disabled individuals while promoting mutual understanding. Conductor and Art Director Kim Nam-jin delivered the message: "Difference is not wrong but a force that creates new harmony."
◆ Student Responses
Students who attended the performance showed immediate reactions. A 1st-grade student said, "The sound was excellent," while a 4th-grade student said, "I learned that outstanding performances are possible even with disabilities." A 6th-grade student said, "We must treat each other without prejudice."
◆ School Policy and Future Plans
Principal Jung Soo-jung said, "I hope this becomes an opportunity for students to develop hearts that understand and respect each other's differences." Boeun Samsan Elementary School plans to continue educational activities that enable students to view the world with broader perspectives, respect one another, and grow together.
