◆ 논산시(시장 백성현)가 청소년 인권 감수성 향상을 위해 찾아가는 인권 교육을 시작했다. 논산시는 충청남도 인권 아카데미 일환으로 기민중학교 강당에서 재학생 254명을 대상으로 인권 교육을 실시했다. 교육은 이론 수업과 실습형 활동으로 구성됐다.

◆ 전문 강사는 인권침해의 유형과 예방 방법, 인권 존중의 중요성을 강의했다. 학생들은 역할극을 통해 상황별 대처법을 직접 경험했다. 교육 과정에서 학교폭력 예방과 차별 금지를 위한 실천 방안을 함께 모색했다.

◆ 논산시 관계자는 "학생들이 서로의 다양성을 존중하고 차별 없이 평등하게 학습할 수 있는 학교문화 조성을 위해 이번 교육을 준비했다"라며 "앞으로 충청남도와 연계해 인권 존중 문화 확산을 위한 다양한 정책을 추진하겠다"라고 밝혔다.
