충청남도 서산시가 행정안전부 주관 '2025년 신속집행 평가'에서 우수기관으로 선정됐다고 밝혔다. 서산시는 2024년에 이어 2년 연속 우수기관에 선정되며 행정안전부 장관 표창과 특별교부세 4천만 원을 받게 됐다. 서산시는 지역경제 회복과 민생 안정을 위해 적극적인 재정집행 전략을 운용해 온 것으로 평가받았다.
◆ 1분기 집행률 133% 달성
서산시는 1분기 집행 목표액 2,285억 원 대비 3,035억 원을 집행해 집행률 133%를 기록했다. 신속한 예산 집행은 지역 소상공인과 중소기업의 자금 흐름을 원활하게 하고, 주민 생활 안정에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 서산시는 이번 평가를 통해 재정 운영 능력을 대외적으로 입증했다.
◆ 지역경제 활성화 사업 추진
서산시는 확보한 특별교부세 4천만 원을 지역경제 활성화와 주민 복지 증진 사업에 활용할 방침이다. 이완섭 서산시장은 "민생경제 회복을 위해 공공의 역할이 그 어느 때보다 중요한 시기"라며 "앞으로도 효율적인 예산 관리와 집행으로 내수 경기 진작과 민생경제 활성화에 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.
