◆ 대강·적성·단양읍 김장나눔

단양군의 새마을단체들이 겨울을 앞두고 지역 취약계층을 위한 사랑의 김장나눔 행사를 개최했다. 대강면새마을부녀회는 지난 13일 대강면복지회관에서 사랑의 김장나눔 행사를 열고 직접 담근 김장김치를 관내 취약계층 100가구에 전달했다. 배추는 올산리에서 직접 재배했다. 부녀회원 20여 명이 참여해 총 150포기의 김치를 완성했다. 적성면 새마을남녀협의회는 14일 적성면사무소에서 사랑의 김장 나누기를 실시했다. 협의회 회원 15명은 직접 수확한 배추와 무로 김치 220포기를 담가 독거노인과 장애인가정, 저소득층 등 50가구에 전달했다.

◆ 단양읍 1500포기 만들어

단양읍새마을남녀협의회는 13~14일 양일간 김장나눔을 진행했다. 새마을협의회와 성신양회 단양공장 성신봉사회, 제3105부대 1대대, 단양읍 직원 등 100여 명이 참여해 약 1500포기의 김장을 완성했다. 협의회가 직접 재배한 배추로 담근 김치는 읍내 독거어르신과 저소득층 등 120세대에 전달됐다.

◆ 영춘면 46세대 전달

영춘면 새마을남녀연합회는 14일 새마을지도자와 부녀회장 등 40여 명이 함께 관내 취약계층 46세대에 10킬로그램 김치를 전달했다. 23개 리에서 각각 도움이 필요한 2세대를 선정해 직접 방문하며 배달했다. 단양군 곳곳에서 이어진 김장나눔 활동은 총 316가구에 1870포기가 전달됐다.

Saemaul organizations in Danyang-gun held a kimchi sharing event for local vulnerable groups ahead of winter. The Daegang-myeon Saemaul Women's Association held a kimchi sharing event at Daegang-myeon Welfare Center on the 13th and delivered homemade kimchi to 100 vulnerable households in the district. Cabbage was directly cultivated in Olsan-ri. About 20 women's association members participated to complete a total of 150 kimchi heads. The Jeokseong-myeon Saemaul Men and Women's Council conducted kimchi sharing at Jeokseong-myeon Office on the 14th. Fifteen council members made 220 kimchi heads with directly harvested cabbage and radish and delivered them to 50 households including elderly living alone, families with disabilities, and low-income families.

◆Danyang-eup Produces 1,500 Heads

The Danyang-eup Saemaul Men and Women's Council conducted kimchi sharing for two days on the 13th and 14th. Approximately 100 people participated, including the Saemaul Council, Sungshin Cement Danyang Plant Sungshin Volunteer Corps, 3105th Unit 1st Battalion, and Danyang-eup staff, completing approximately 1,500 kimchi heads. Kimchi made with cabbage directly cultivated by the council was delivered to 120 households including elderly living alone and low-income families in the town.

◆Yeongchun-myeon Delivers to 46 Households

The Yeongchun-myeon Saemaul Men and Women's Union delivered 10-kilogram kimchi to 46 vulnerable households in the district on the 14th with approximately 40 people including Saemaul leaders and women's association heads. Two households in need were selected from each of 23 ris and visited directly for delivery. Kimchi sharing activities that continued throughout Danyang-gun delivered a total of 1,870 kimchi heads to 316 households.
