◆ 200명 참석한 도정 정책자문단의 최종 활동
충북도가 11월 17일 청주 오스코 그랜드볼룸에서 '2025 충북 발전 정책세미나'를 개최했다. 충북도와 한국은행 충북본부가 공동 주최하고 도정 정책자문단이 주관했다. 정책자문단은 내년 6월 민선 8기 종료와 함께 활동을 마무리한다. 세미나에는 정책자문단, 민간 전문가, 도민 200여 명이 참석했다.
◆ 네 전문가가 제시한 미래 발전전략
세미나는 '개혁과 혁신시대에 걸맞은 충북 미래발전 방안'을 주제로 진행됐다. 미래산업 혁신 성장과 지방소멸 시대 대응이 주요 의제였다. 이재일 건국대 바이오의약과 교수는 충북 바이오산업의 지속 가능한 발전 추진방향을 제시했다. 김광주 충북과학기술혁신원 연구기획부장은 인공지능 대전환 전략을 기반으로 한 혁신 아이디어와 비전을 공유했다. 홍사흠 국토연구원 글로벌개발협력센터장은 지방소멸 위기 극복을 위한 충청권 메가시티 구축의 경제적 효과를 분석했다. 신학승 한양대 관광학부 교수는 충북도 사례 중심으로 관광생활인구 유입과 지역경제 활성화 방안을 제시했다.

◆ 안전·복지·경제 분야 정책 제안
정책 제안토론에서 강민호 충북안전생활실천시민연합회 대표, 송영란 충북여성단체협의회장, 최상천 청주상공회의소 본부장이 나섰다. 세 분야는 안전소방, 복지보건여성, 경제였다. 김영환 지사는 "제안된 내용은 도정 운영에 적극 반영하겠다"고 밝혔다. 한승철 한국은행 충북본부장은 "새로운 성장축을 마련하는 기회가 되길 희망한다"고 전했다. 정윤숙 도정 정책자문단 위원장은 "도민의 소리를 전달하는 가교 역할을 하겠다"고 말했다.

◆ Final Activity of Provincial Policy Advisory Group with 200 Attendees
Chungcheongbuk-do held the '2025 Chungbuk Development Policy Seminar' on November 17 at the Grand Ballroom of Cheongju Osco. Chungcheongbuk-do and the Bank of Korea Chungbuk Office co-hosted the event. The provincial policy advisory group served as organizer. The advisory group concludes activities in June next year with the end of the 8th civilian-elected administration. Approximately 200 people including policy advisors, private experts, and residents attended the seminar.
◆ Four Experts Present Future Development Strategies
The seminar proceeded with the theme 'Chungbuk development strategy fitting the era of reform and innovation.' Key agendas included innovative growth in future industries and responses to the era of local population decline. Professor Lee Jae-il from Konkuk University's Department of Biomedical Sciences presented the direction for sustainable development of Chungbuk's biotechnology industry. Kim Kwang-joo, research planning director of the Chungcheongbuk Science and Technology Innovation Institute, shared innovative ideas and vision based on artificial intelligence transformation strategy. Hong Sa-heum, director of the Global Development Cooperation Center at the Korea Institute for Research Institute, analyzed economic effects of constructing a Chungcheong mega-city to overcome the local population decline crisis. Professor Shin Hak-seung from Hanyang University's Department of Tourism presented measures to attract tourism population and revitalize local economy, focusing on Chungbuk cases.
◆ Policy Proposals in Safety, Welfare, and Economy Sectors
In the policy proposal discussion, Kang Min-ho, chairman of the Chungbuk Safe Living Practice Citizens' Union; Song Young-ran, chairwoman of the Chungcheongbuk Women's Organizations Council; and Choi Sang-cheon, director of the Cheongju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, presented proposals. The three sectors were safety and disaster prevention, welfare and women's health, and economy. Governor Kim Young-hwan stated, "The proposed content will be actively reflected in provincial administration." Han Seung-chul, head of the Bank of Korea Chungbuk Office, stated, "I hope this becomes an opportunity to establish a new growth axis." Committee Chair Jung Yun-sook of the provincial policy advisory group said, "We will serve as a bridge to convey residents' voices."
