◆ 13개 동네기록관 성과공유회 개최

청주시와 청주시문화산업진흥재단은 16일 문화제조창 동부창고 36동 빛내림홀에서 '2025 청주 문화도시조성사업 - 동네기록관 성과공유회'를 개최했다. 지역 동네기록관 13곳은 각 마을에서 진행한 기록 프로젝트 성과를 공유했다.

◆ 오창 설화부터 디아스포라 이야기까지

주요 성과로 오창읍 기록관은 오창의 숨겨진 유래와 설화를 동화책으로 제작했다. 성안·남주동 기록관은 성안동 뿌리 노포와 신생 가게의 이야기를 담았다. 우암동 콜렉티브 기록관은 러시아와 우즈베키스탄 등 디아스포라 주민들의 삶을 통해 청주의 변화상을 기록했다.

◆ 법정문화도시 청주 핵심 사업 지속

동네기록관은 1차 법정문화도시 청주가 2020년부터 추진한 기록문화 브랜드 사업이다. 청주시는 주민이 스스로 동네와 마을의 역사·생활문화를 기록하고 아카이브할 수 있도록 지원한다. 청주문화재단 관계자는 "동네기록관은 지난해 법정문화도시 국비 사업 종료 이후에도 이어온 기록문화도시 청주의 핵심 사업"이라며 "공유회를 통해 마을 기록이 지역 정체성 강화와 공동체 문화 형성에 중요한 역할을 한다는 점을 확인했다"고 밝혔다.

◆ 13 Neighborhood Archives Hold Achievement Sharing Event

Cheongju City and Cheongju Cultural Industry Promotion Foundation held the '2025 Cheongju Cultural City Project - Neighborhood Archives Achievement Sharing Event' at Bitnaerim Hall in Building 36 of Culture Manufacturing Factory Dongbu Warehouse on the 16th. Thirteen regional neighborhood archives shared achievements from recording projects conducted in their respective communities.

◆ From Ochang Folktales to Diaspora Stories

Major achievements include Ochang-eup Archive's creation of a children's book documenting hidden origins and folktales of Ochang. Seongan·Namju-dong Archive recorded stories of Seongan-dong's established old stores and newly opened shops. Uam-dong Collective Archive documented Cheongju's transformation through stories of diaspora residents from Russia and Uzbekistan.

◆ Continuation of Legal Cultural City Cheongju's Core Project

Neighborhood Archives is a recording culture brand project that Legal Cultural City Cheongju has promoted since 2020. Cheongju City supports residents to independently record and archive the history and living culture of their neighborhoods and villages. A Cheongju Cultural Foundation official stated, "Neighborhood Archives is a core project of recording culture city Cheongju that has continued even after the government-funded Legal Cultural City project ended last year," adding, "Through this sharing event, we confirmed that community records play an important role in strengthening regional identity and forming community culture."
