◆ 공공기관 유치 범시민추진위 발족
제천시 공공기관 유치 범시민추진위원회가 발족했다. 제천 지역 시·도의원과 기관·단체장 등 170명으로 구성된 위원회는 정부의 공공기관 2차 이전 방침에 따라 이전 대상 기관 방문 등 공공기관 유치 활동에 나선다. 위원회는 균형 발전을 위해 혁신도시 이외 지역으로 공공기관이 이전해야 한다고 강조했다. 최명현 제천시 공공기관유치 범시민추진위원장은 "혁신도시로 가기로 됐다는 것을 깨는 역할을 우리가 하나로 똘똘 뭉쳐서 2차 공공기관 유치하는 데 힘을 모으자"고 밝혔다.
◆ 코레일·한방산업 기관 유치 집중
제천시는 기존 산업과 연계해 코레일 계열사와 한방천연물산업 관련 기관 유치에 주력하고 있다. 이를 위해 이전 기관에는 토지 매입비나 건축비를, 이주 직원에게는 정착 장려금과 자녀 장학금 등을 지원하는 방안을 마련했다.
◆ 음성 도민체전·영동 국악단 소식
음성군은 내년 충북도민체육대회 추진위원회 발대식을 열고 본격적인 준비에 돌입했다. 발대식은 체전 D-300 카운터 제막식을 시작으로 행사 성공을 기원하는 축하 공연 등으로 진행됐다. 제65회 충북도민체육대회는 내년 9월 10일부터 사흘간, 제20회 충북장애인체육대회는 내년 10월 1일과 2일에 음성종합경기장 등에서 열린다. 영동난계국악단은 18일 대구에서 열릴 2025 월드 오케스트라 페스티벌에서 공연한다. 국악 단체로는 유일하게 초청돼 피리와 가야금 협주곡, 판소리 등 전통 음악을 선보일 예정이다.

◆ Public Institution Attraction Pan-Citizen Promotion Committee Launched
The Jecheon City Public Institution Attraction Pan-Citizen Promotion Committee was launched. The committee, composed of 170 members including city and provincial council members and institutional and organizational leaders from the Jecheon area, will engage in public institution attraction activities such as visiting institutions subject to relocation under the government's second public institution relocation policy. The committee emphasized that public institutions should relocate to areas outside innovation cities for balanced development. Jecheon City is focusing on attracting KORAIL affiliates and oriental natural product industry-related institutions in connection with existing industries. To this end, the city has prepared measures to support land purchase costs or construction costs for relocating institutions, and settlement incentives and children's scholarships for relocating employees.
◆ Eumseong Provincial Sports Festival and Yeongdong Gugak Troupe News
Eumseong County held a launching ceremony for next year's Chungbuk Provincial Sports Festival Promotion Committee and began full-scale preparations. The ceremony proceeded with various events including the unveiling of the D-300 counter and celebratory performances wishing for the event's success. The 65th Chungbuk Provincial Sports Festival will be held for three days from September 10 next year, and the 20th Chungbuk Disabled Sports Festival will be held on October 1 and 2 next year at Eumseong Stadium and other venues. The Yeongdong Nangye Gugak Troupe will perform at the 2025 World Orchestra Festival in Daegu on the 18th. As the only traditional Korean music group invited to this event, they will present traditional Korean music including piri and gayageum concertos and pansori.
