당진시가 제78회 충남도민체전 성공 개최를 위해 전 부서 총력 체제에 돌입했다.

당진시는 10일 당진시청 7층 소회의실에서 부시장, 국소장, 관련 부서장 등 40여 명이 참석한 가운데 '제78회 충남도민 체육대회 분야별 업무 분담 추진계획 보고회'를 개최했다. 당진시는 이번 보고회에서 대회의 비전을 '20년의 기다림, 함께 뛰는 미래, 다시 만난 우리, 더 높이 더 멀리'로 설정하고 청정체전·행복체전·참여체전·감동체전·경제체전 등 5대 목표 달성을 위한 세부 추진 전략을 논의했다.

◆ 31개 종목 36개 경기장 확보...시 전역 시설 활용

당진시는 31개 종목에 필요한 총 36개 경기장 확보 현황을 점검했다. 공공시설 외에도 학교시설과 민간 시설을 다각적으로 활용하는 방안을 마련했다. 개막식이 열릴 당진종합운동장을 비롯해 신평문화스포츠센터(검도), 면천읍성 객사(씨름) 등 시 전역의 시설을 분산 활용해 시민 참여도를 높일 예정이다. 27개 부서는 회의에서 맡은 역할을 확인하고 실질적인 협력 방안에 대한 의견을 나눴다.

◆ 주차장 2000면 확보...교통 편의 대폭 개선

당진시는 교통 편의를 위해 주 경기장 주변에 기존 주차장 850면 외에 확장 부지를 활용해 총 2000여 면의 주차장을 확보할 계획이다. 오성환 당진시장은 "이번 대회는 단순한 스포츠 행사를 넘어 시의 역량을 결집하는 최대 규모의 행사"라며 "전 부서는 주인의식을 가지고 적극 협조해 대회 준비에 총력을 다해달라"고 당부했다. 당진시 관계자는 "유관기관과의 최종 업무협의를 거쳐 완벽한 대회 준비에 최선을 다할 예정"이라고 말했다.

All departments should actively cooperate with a sense of ownership and devote all efforts to preparing for the event." A Dangjin City official stated, "We will do our best to prepare for a perfect event through final work consultations with related organizations based on the cooperation measures confirmed at this briefing."
