충북 진천군 상하수도사업소는 겨울철 안전사고 예방과 하자 발생을 방지하기 위해 12월 15일부터 내년 3월 중 별도 해제 시까지 신규 급수공사를 중지한다고 11일 밝혔다.
신규 급수공사 신청은 11월 28일까지 진천군 상하수도사업소 수도시설팀에서 할 수 있다. 접수, 설계, 고지서 발부, 납부 후 시공 순으로 진행된다. 동절기 급수공사 중지로 인해 신청이 몰리면 11월 28일까지 접수분 중 순서에 따라 차례대로 진행될 예정이다.
송민재 군 상하수도사업소 주무관은 "안정적인 상수도 공급을 위해 부득이 급수공사를 중지하게 됐다"며 "내년 급수공사를 신속히 재개할 수 있도록 준비에 철저를 기하겠다"고 말했다.
