11일 고속도로순찰대에 따르면 전날 오후 9시 55분께 경부고속도로 천안시 동남구 수신면 천안호두휴게소 2㎞ 지점에서 1t 택배차가 앞서 가던 25t 카고트럭을 들이받았다. 이 사고로 택배차 운전자 A씨가 현장에서 사망했다. 고속도로순찰대는 택배차가 안전 운전을 하지 않아 일어난 사고로 추정하고 정확한 사고 경위를 조사 중이다.
