◆동절기 대책 및 시민 안전
이범석 청주시장은 지난 10일 전 부서에 동절기 종합대책 수립을 지시했다. 이 시장은 임시청사에서 주간업무보고회를 열고 "취약계층을 포함한 모든 시민을 보호할 수 있도록 동절기 종합대책을 차질 없이 준비하라"고 말했다.

이 시장은 내년도 예산 확보를 위한 총력 대응을 지시했다. "정부예산안에 대한 국회 심의가 지난주부터 진행 중"이라며 "우리 시의 주요 현안사업을 원활히 진행하려면 국비를 최대한 확보해야 한다"고 말했다. 이 시장은 "정부 예산안, 업무계획 등의 변화를 빠르고 정확하게 파악해 선제적으로 준비하고 대응하라"고 강조했다.
이 시장은 청주시의회와의 소통도 주문했다. "다음 주부터 청주시의회 정례회에서 다뤄질 행정사무감사, 3차 추가경정예산, 내년 본예산 등이 차질 없이 통과될 수 있어야 한다"고 말했다.
◆CTX 관련 준비
이 시장은 청주세종대전 충청권광역급행철도(CTX) 관련 도시계획 수립을 지시했다. "CTX 사업이 민자적격성 조사를 통과한 시점에서 우리가 해야 할 일은 무엇인지, 변경해야 할 일은 없는지 꼼꼼히 체크해서 추진하라"고 말했다.
