천안시의회가 5일 오후 2시 천안시 청소년복합커뮤니티센터 다목적실에서 '행복한 미래세대를 위한 제3차 토론회'를 개최했다. 정도희 의원(국민의힘, 불당1·2동)과 이지원 의원(국민의힘, 성거읍·부성1동)이 공동 주최했다. 토론회는 '내 맘대로 청년아파트'를 주제로 열렸으며 관련 전문가와 시민들이 참석해 성황을 이뤘다. 정도희 의원이 좌장을 맡았다.

◆보증금·임대·분양 조절 가능한 청년아파트 제안

이교희 미래세대정책연구소장이 주제발표를 진행했다. 박성기 유원대학교 교수, 이지원 천안시의회 의원, 오선희 충청남도자원봉사센터장이 토론자로 참여했다. 이교희 소장은 청년들이 결혼과 출산을 기피하는 이유로 일자리와 주거 문제를 꼽았다. 이 소장은 청년 주택문제를 해결하기 위해 지방자치단체가 조치할 수 있는 방안으로 보증금, 임대, 분양 등이 조절 가능한 '내 맘대로 청년아파트' 제도를 제안했다. 토론자들도 함께 공감하며 토론에 그치지 않고 실질적인 정책으로 이어져야 한다는 데 의견을 모았다.

◆연말까지 민생 주제 추가 토론회 계획

정도희 의원은 "올해 연말까지 민생과 직접적으로 연관된 다양한 주제를 가지고 전문가와 시민들을 초청한 추가 토론회를 계속 추진할 계획"이라고 밝혔다. 정 의원은 "천안시민에게 실질적인 혜택을 줄 수 있도록 다방면으로 노력하겠다"고 말했다.

Youth Complex Community Center on 5th, Experts and Citizens Attend

Cheonan City Council held the '3rd Forum for a Happy Future Generation' at 2 PM on the 5th in the multipurpose room of Cheonan Youth Complex Community Center. Council members Jung Do-hee (People Power Party, Buldang 1·2-dong) and Lee Ji-won (People Power Party, Seonggeo-eup·Buseong 1-dong) co-hosted the event. The forum was held under the theme 'My Way Youth Apartment' and was well attended by related experts and citizens. Council member Jung Do-hee served as moderator.

◆Youth Apartment with Adjustable Deposit, Rent, and Sale Price Proposed

Lee Gyo-hee, Director of Future Generation Policy Research Institute, presented the main topic. Professor Park Seong-gi of Yuwon University, Cheonan City Council member Lee Ji-won, and Oh Seon-hee, Director of Chungcheongnam-do Volunteer Center participated as discussants. Director Lee cited job and housing problems as reasons why young people avoid marriage and childbirth. Director Lee proposed the 'My Way Youth Apartment' system with adjustable deposit, rent, and sale prices as a measure that local governments can take to solve youth housing problems. Discussants also agreed and reached consensus that it should not end with discussion but lead to practical policies.

◆Additional Forums on Public Welfare Topics Planned Through Year-End

Council member Jung Do-hee stated, "We plan to continue promoting additional forums inviting experts and citizens with various topics directly related to public welfare through the end of this year." Council member Jung said, "We will make efforts in various ways to provide practical benefits to Cheonan citizens."
