◆ 영농폐기물 집중 수거 본격화
단양군은 2025년 하반기 영농폐기물 수거·처리 지원사업을 본격 추진하고 있다. 군은 농촌 지역 환경오염을 예방하고 자원순환형 농업체계를 구축하기 위해 한국환경공단 수거 대상에서 제외된 포트판·점적호스·톤백·고무호스·농업용 끈 등을 집중 수거하는 것을 목표로 한다.

군은 상반기에 마을별 홍보를 강화하고 암롤박스(이동식 대형 수거함)를 설치해 총 150톤 이상의 영농폐기물을 수거·처리했다. 하반기에도 마을 지정 장소에 암롤박스를 일정 기간 배치해 체계적인 수거 활동을 이어가고 있으며 관련 기관·마을 단위 협조체계를 강화하고 있다.
◆ 읍·면 순회 수거 일정 진행
군은 11월 4일 영춘면 하리를 시작으로 5일 대강면 직티리, 6∼7일 어상천면 연곡리, 11일 대강면 괴평리, 12일 가곡면 사평리, 13∼14일 적성면 하리·소야리에서 순차적으로 수거 활동을 실시하고 있다. 군은 하반기에 약 100톤 이상의 영농폐기물을 처리할 것으로 보고 있다. 군 관계자는 영농폐기물 분리배출 참여가 ‘깨끗한 농촌환경 조성의 출발점’이라고 강조했다.

◆ Danyang County Launches Full-Scale Farm Waste Collection
Danyang County has started the full implementation of its “2025 Second-Half Agricultural Waste Collection and Disposal Support Project.” The project aims to prevent environmental pollution in rural areas and strengthen a resource-circulating agricultural system by collecting items excluded from the Korea Environment Corporation’s official collection list, including pot trays, drip hoses, ton bags, rubber hoses, and agricultural strings.

The county collected more than 150 tons of agricultural waste in the first half of the year by enhancing village-level publicity and installing roll-off containers. In the second half, the county continues to place the containers at designated village locations and plans to reinforce cooperation among related institutions and local communities to improve waste management and resource recycling.
◆ Sequential Collection in Each Township
The county began collection on November 4 in Hari, Yeongchun-myeon, followed by Jikti-ri in Daegang-myeon on November 5; Yeongok-ri in Eosangcheon-myeon on November 6–7; Goepyeong-ri in Daegang-myeon on November 11; Sapyung-ri in Gagok-myeon on November 12; and Hari and Soya-ri in Jeokseong-myeon on November 13–14. The county expects to collect more than 100 tons of agricultural waste in the second half. County officials emphasized that proper waste separation and active participation are essential for maintaining a clean rural environment.
