외국인 유학생의 지역 정착과 중소기업의 글로벌 인재 확보를 위한 '2025 충북 외국인 우수인재 채용박람회'가 4일 오후 1시부터 5시까지 충청대학교 컨벤션센터에서 열린다.

◆ 유학생 1천 명·기업 40개사 참여

충북도, 충청대학교, 강동대학교, 충북도립대학교, 충북지방중소벤처기업청이 공동 주최하고 충북기업진흥원(충북일자리지원센터)이 주관하는 이번 박람회는 외국인 유학생과 졸업생 등 1천여 명과 40여 개 지역 기업이 참여할 예정이다. 충북과 세종지역 15개 대학의 외국인 유학생들이 이날 기업 인사담당자와 1대1 현장 면접을 진행한다. 체류비자 상담, 생활법률 상담, 외국인 창업 컨설팅을 비롯해 이력서 사진 촬영, 면접 클리닉, 가상현실·증강현실 직업체험, K-플레이 체험존 등 실질적인 취업지원 서비스가 운영된다.

◆ 지역 기반 일자리 생태계 모델 제시

충청대, 강동대, 충북도립대는 'K-유학생 충북학당' 등 유학생 지원 프로그램을 통해 교육, 산업, 행정이 협력하는 지역 기반의 일자리 생태계 모델도 제시할 계획이다. 충북경제자유구역청, 청주출입국사무소, 충북경찰청, 법률구조공단, 가족지원센터, 충북인재평생교육진흥원, 소상공인지원센터 등은 박람회에서 외국인 지원 제도를 소개한다.

◆ "글로벌 인재 확보의 마중물 되길"

송승호 충청대 총장(충북글로벌협력단장)은 "충북이 외국인 인재의 새로운 취업 거점으로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 대학과 지역이 함께 노력하고 있다"며 "이번 행사가 글로벌 인재 확보의 마중물이 되길 바란다"고 밝혔다.

Chungbuk Free Economic Zone Authority, Cheongju Immigration Office, Chungbuk Police Agency, Legal Aid Corporation, Family Support Center, Chungbuk Talent Lifelong Education Promotion Agency, and Small Business Support Center will introduce foreign support systems at the fair.

◆ "Hope to Be Catalyst for Global Talent Acquisition"

Song Seung-ho, President of Chungcheong University (Director of Chungbuk Global Cooperation Group), stated, "Universities and the region are working together so that Chungbuk can establish itself as a new employment base for foreign talent," adding, "I hope this event will become a catalyst for global talent acquisition."
