아산시의회(의장 홍성표)가 10월 30일 오전 10시 의장실에서 영등포구의회 사회건설위원회 의원과 간담회를 열고 상호 교류 및 협력 방안을 논의했다.
이번 간담회는 영등포구의회 사회건설위원회가 신청사 건립 추진과 관련해 아산시의회의 청사 운영 사례를 벤치마킹하기 위해 마련했다.
간담회에는 홍성표 의장과 차인영 사회건설위원장을 비롯한 영등포구의회 의원과 직원 8명이 참석했다.
양 의회는 의정 운영 우수 사례를 공유하고 신청사 시설 공간의 효율적 활용 방안과 향후 의정 교류 활성화 방안에 대해 의견을 나눴다.
간담회는 △홍성표 의장과 차인영 위원장의 인사말 △의회 운영 현황 및 청사 신축 관련 논의 △기념품 전달 △의회 청사 견학 및 기념촬영 순으로 진행했다. 양측은 실질적인 교류를 통한 자치 의회 역량 강화와 우호 관계 증진에 뜻을 모았다.
홍성표 의장은 "아산시의회를 방문해 주신 영등포구의회 의원 여러분께 감사드린다"며 "이번 견학이 영등포구의회 청사 건립과 공간 구성에 도움이 되길 바란다"고 말했다. 그는 "방문을 마치신 뒤에는 이순신 장군의 유년 시절 고택과 사당이 있는 현충사도 함께 둘러보시길 추천한다"고 덧붙였다.
영등포구의회 의원들은 "의장님과 따뜻한 환대에 감사드린다"며 "이번 방문을 통해 얻은 다양한 사례를 우리 구의회 청사 건립에 적극 반영하겠다"고 밝혔다. 그들은 "앞으로도 두 의회가 지속적으로 교류하며 우호 관계를 이어가길 바란다"고 전했다.
영등포구의회 사회건설위원회는 아산시의회 방문에 앞서 29일 현대자동차 아산공장과 청년센터 나와유 배방점을 견학하며 지역 산업과 청년정책 관련 우수 사례를 살펴봤다.

The Asan City Council (Chairman Hong Seong-pyo) held a meeting with members of the Yeongdeungpo-gu Council Social Construction Committee at the chairman's office at 10 a.m. on October 30 to discuss mutual exchange and cooperation plans.
This meeting was arranged for the Yeongdeungpo-gu Council Social Construction Committee to benchmark the Asan City Council's building operation cases in relation to promoting the construction of a new building.
The meeting was attended by Chairman Hong Seong-pyo, Social Construction Committee Chairman Cha In-young, and eight members and staff of the Yeongdeungpo-gu Council.
The two councils shared best practices in legislative operations and exchanged opinions on efficient utilization of new building facility space and future legislative exchange activation plans.
The meeting proceeded in the order of △greetings from Chairman Hong Seong-pyo and Chairman Cha In-young △discussion of council operation status and building construction △gift delivery △council building tour and commemorative photo. Both sides agreed to strengthen autonomous council capabilities and promote friendly relations through practical exchange.
Chairman Hong Seong-pyo said, "I sincerely thank the members of the Yeongdeungpo-gu Council for visiting the Asan City Council," adding, "I hope this tour will help with the construction and space composition of the Yeongdeungpo-gu Council building." He added, "I recommend visiting Hyeonchungsa, where General Yi Sun-sin's childhood home and shrine are located, after finishing your visit."
Yeongdeungpo-gu Council members said, "We thank the chairman for the warm hospitality," adding, "We will actively reflect the various cases obtained through this visit in the construction of our district council building." They said, "We hope the two councils will continue to exchange and maintain friendly relations."
Meanwhile, the Yeongdeungpo-gu Council Social Construction Committee toured Hyundai Motor's Asan plant and the Youth Center Nawa-U Baebang branch on the 29th before visiting the Asan City Council, examining excellent cases related to local industry and youth policy.
