차고지 운영 1주년을 맞아 군은 지난 9월 22일부터 10월 17일까지 4주간 차고지 이용자 70여명을 대상으로 '옥천군 화물자동차 공영차고지 만족도 설문조사'를 실시했다.
응답률 97%를 기록한 이번 설문은 △이용 만족도 △재이용 의사 △추천 의사 △기타 의견 등 4개 항목으로 구성됐다. 이용 만족도 97%, 재이용 의사 94%, 추천 의사 92%로 매우 높은 수준을 보였다. 기타 의견으로는 샤워 시설 설치와 차단기 앞 진입로 확장 등의 개선 요청이 있었다.
군 관계자는 "화물자동차 공영차고지가 옥천읍 시내 화물차 불법주차 해소와 주민 교통안전에 큰 역할을 하고 있다"며 "설문조사 결과를 참고해 더 편리하고 쾌적한 환경 조성을 위해 노력하겠다"고 밝혔다.
