당진시 당진3동은 이달 말까지 쓰레기 불법 투기 집중 단속을 실시한다고 24일 밝혔다.

당진3동은 주택가와 생활쓰레기 상습 투기 지역 위주로 단속한다. 종량제 규격 봉투 미사용 배출, 음식물쓰레기와 일반쓰레기 혼합 배출 행위, 대형폐기물 스티커 미부착 배출 행위 등을 집중 단속한다.

적발 시에는 폐기물관리법에 따라 최대 100만원의 과태료가 부과된다.

당진3동은 이번 단속을 위해 CCTV 모니터링 강화, 단속 인력 확대, 시민 신고 시스템 활성화 등 조치를 전개할 예정이다.

박영안 당진3동장은 "생활쓰레기 불법투기가 근절될 수 있도록 앞으로도 계도와 단속을 진행하겠다"며 "성숙한 시민의식을 바탕으로 올바르게 쓰레기를 배출하는 등 깨끗한 우리 마을 만들기에 적극 참여해 주시길 바란다"고 밝혔다.
