논산시의회(의장 조용훈)는 23일 제2차 본회의에서 제267회 임시회 의사일정을 마쳤다.
시의회는 7일간 조례안 6건(의원발의 2건)과 일반안건 26건 등 총 32건을 심의했다. 모든 안건은 원안대로 가결됐다.
시의회는 이번 임시회에서 2025년도 행정사무감사를 앞두고 주요 사업장을 점검했다. 점검 대상은 논산문화예술전문학교, 딸기향농촌테마공원(2027논산세계딸기산업엑스포 추진지), 논산미래광장, 도시재생뉴딜 사업지(화지마을, 해월마을) 등이다.
의원들은 각 부서장으로부터 사업 현황을 보고받고 현장을 확인했다. 의원들은 사업 추진 과정의 문제점 개선을 요청했다.
조용훈 의장은 "7일간의 임시회 기간 동안 안건 심사와 처리를 위해 수고한 동료 의원들에게 감사드린다"며 "자료 준비와 제안설명을 한 관계 공무원들에게도 감사하다"고 밝혔다.
시의회는 11월 24일부터 12월 19일까지 26일간 제268회 제2차 정례회를 연다. 정례회에서는 2025년도 행정사무감사를 실시하고 2026년도 예산안과 조례안, 일반안건을 심의·의결한다.

7-Day Review of Ordinances and General Agenda Items, On-Site Inspections of Major Projects Conducted
The Nonsan City Council (Chairman Cho Yong-hoon) completed the agenda of the 267th extraordinary session at the second plenary session on the 23rd.
The council reviewed a total of 32 items over seven days, including 6 ordinance bills (2 proposed by council members) and 26 general agenda items. All items were approved as originally proposed.
During this extraordinary session, the council inspected major project sites ahead of the 2025 administrative audit. The inspection sites included Nonsan Culture and Arts Vocational School, Strawberry Scent Rural Theme Park (site for the 2027 Nonsan World Strawberry Industry Expo), Nonsan Future Plaza, and urban regeneration New Deal project sites (Hwaji Village, Haewol Village).
Council members received project status reports from department heads and inspected the sites. They requested improvements to problems in the project implementation process.
Chairman Cho Yong-hoon stated, "I thank my fellow council members for their hard work in reviewing and processing the agenda during the seven-day extraordinary session," adding, "I also thank the government officials who prepared materials and provided explanations."
The council will hold the 268th second regular session for 26 days from November 24 to December 19. The regular session will conduct the 2025 administrative audit and deliberate and approve the 2026 budget bill, ordinance bills, and general agenda items.
