공주시는 10월 15일부터 17일까지 서울 코엑스에서 열린 '바이오플러스-인터펙스 코리아 2025(BIX 2025)' 박람회에 참가해 바이오 산업 기업 유치 활동을 펼쳤다고 밝혔다.
이번 박람회에는 15개국 300여 개 기업이 참여했다. 박람회는 550여 개 부스로 운영됐다. 세계 선도 기업과 창업기업이 참가했다.
공주시는 박람회에서 바이오를 포함한 미래 전략산업 중심지로서 입지 여건과 산업 기반을 알렸다. 기업 맞춤형 혜택 지원정책 등 투자유치 정보를 제공했다.
공주시는 바이오 산업 기업들과 1대1 상담을 진행했다. 투자 협력 방안을 논의했다. 공주 지역 산업단지와 주거 여건을 연계한 기업 정착 지원 방안을 홍보했다.
정재욱 투자유치실장은 "이번 박람회 참가를 계기로 바이오 산업 기업 유치 확대와 지역 경제 활성화를 위한 노력을 이어가겠다"며 "미래 신산업 기업들이 공주에 안착할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다"고 말했다.

Gongju City promoted its location advantages and industrial infrastructure as a hub for future strategic industries including bio at the expo. The city provided investment attraction information including customized benefit support policies for companies.
Gongju City conducted one-on-one consultations with bio-industry companies. The city discussed investment cooperation plans. The city promoted support plans for stable company settlement linking Gongju's industrial complexes and residential conditions.
Jeong Jae-wook, Director of Investment Attraction Office, said, "We will continue efforts to expand bio-industry company attraction and revitalize the local economy through this expo participation," adding "We will actively support future new industry companies to settle in Gongju."
