■ 2년간 7만호 착공...목표는 14만호
국토교통부는 16일 9·7 주택공급 방안에 따라 향후 2년 안에 수도권 신축매입임대 7만호를 착공한다고 밝혔다. 신축매입임대는 민간이 신축 주택을 건설하기 전에 매입약정을 체결하고, 건설 후 공공주택사업자가 매입해 임대주택으로 공급하는 사업이다. 국토부는 9·7 대책에서 수도권 내 신축매입임대 14만호를 착공하겠다고 밝힌 바 있다.

국토부는 향후 2년간 착공되는 신축매입임대 7만호 중 90% 이상을 우수한 입지 중심으로 추진한다. 오피스텔, 아파트, 도시형생활주택 등 주거 여건이 좋은 주택을 중심으로 공급한다. 국토부는 이를 위해 올해부터 착공 단계에서 매입대금의 최대 10%를 선지급하는 인센티브제를 도입했다. 한국토지주택공사(LH) 내 '조기착공 지원팀'을 신설해 현장 중심의 사업 관리를 강화했다.
■ 이상경 차관 "국민 체감 주거 안정 조기 달성"
이상경 국토부 1차관은 16일 서울 동대문구 답십리에 위치한 신축매입임대 오피스텔을 방문했다. 이 차관은 "신축매입임대는 도심 내에서 신혼부부·청년층 등이 선호하는 우수한 입지의 주택을 신속하게 공급하는 방안"이라고 말했다. 그는 "정부는 향후 수도권에서 신축매입임대 14만호를 공급하면서, 오늘 현장과 같은 우수 입지 내 고품질 주택을 중심으로 국민이 체감할 수 있는 주거 안정을 조기에 달성하겠다"고 밝혔다.
