보은군, 베트남과 보은대추 수출 활성화를 위한 업무협약 체결
■ 16일 협약식...솔로몬인터내셔널·코리아보은대추협동조합과 체결
보은군은 16일 오후 속리산관문 생태문화교육장 2층에서 ㈜솔로몬인터내셔널, 코리아보은대추협동조합과 함께 '2025년 보은대추 수출 활성화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)'을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 이번 협약식에는 최재형 보은군수를 비롯해 코리아보은대추협동조합 김홍복 대표, ㈜솔로몬인터내셔널 하툭년짱 대표, 보은군산림조합 강석지 조합장, (사)보은군대추연합회 류재철 연합회장 등 관계자 17명이 참석했다. 이날 협약식에서 코리아보은대추협동조합과 ㈜솔로몬인터내셔널 간 10만 달러 규모의 보은대추 수출 계약이 함께 체결됐다.
■ 베트남 유통망 판매·홍보...물량 생산·공급·행정 지원
협약에 따라 ㈜솔로몬인터내셔널은 베트남 현지 유통망을 통해 보은대추를 적극적으로 판매·홍보한다. 코리아보은대추협동조합은 수출에 필요한 물량을 적기에 안정적으로 생산·공급한다. 군은 행정적 지원을 통해 수출이 원활히 이뤄질 수 있도록 돕고, 향후 보은 농식품의 해외 진출 확대와 양국 간 농림분야 교류 활성화에도 적극 협력한다. 협약식에 이어 수출 관련 간담회와 농가·가공장 현장 방문도 이어졌다. 참석자들은 수출 품질 기준과 물류 지원 방안 등을 논의했다.
■ 최재형 군수 "글로벌 농산물로 자리잡도록 지원"
보은대추는 청정한 속리산 자락에서 재배되는 국내 대표 대추 브랜드로, 당도가 높고 아삭한 식감이 뛰어나다. 군은 이번 협약을 계기로 베트남을 비롯한 동남아시아 시장 진출을 본격화해 보은 대추의 수출 기반을 확대해 나갈 계획이다. 최재형 보은군수는 "이번 협약은 보은대추의 품질 경쟁력을 세계 시장에 알릴 수 있는 좋은 기회"라고 말했다. 그는 "지속적인 수출 확대를 통해 농가의 안정적인 판로를 확보하고, 보은대추가 대한민국을 대표하는 글로벌 농산물로 자리잡을 수 있도록 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다.

The agreement ceremony was attended by 17 officials including Boeun County Governor Choi Jae-hyung, Korea Boeun Jujube Cooperative CEO Kim Hong-bok, Solomon International CEO Ha Thuc Nhon Trang, Boeun-gun Forest Cooperative President Kang Seok-ji, and Boeun-gun Jujube Federation President Ryu Jae-cheol. At the agreement ceremony, a $100,000 Boeun jujube export contract was signed between Korea Boeun Jujube Cooperative and Solomon International.
■ Sales and promotion through Vietnam distribution network... Production, supply, and administrative support
According to the agreement, Solomon International will actively sell and promote Boeun jujube through local distribution networks in Vietnam. Korea Boeun Jujube Cooperative will stably produce and supply the necessary volume for export in a timely manner. The county will help ensure smooth exports through administrative support and actively cooperate in expanding overseas advancement of Boeun agricultural products and activating exchanges in the agricultural and forestry sectors between the two countries. Following the agreement ceremony, an export-related meeting and visits to farms and processing plants were held. Participants discussed export quality standards and logistics support measures.

Boeun jujube is a representative domestic jujube brand grown in the clean foothills of Songnisan Mountain, with high sugar content and excellent crispy texture. The county plans to fully enter the Southeast Asian market, including Vietnam, through this agreement and expand the export base for Boeun jujube. Boeun County Governor Choi Jae-hyung said, "This agreement is a good opportunity to promote the quality competitiveness of Boeun jujube in the global market." He stated, "Through continuous export expansion, we will secure stable sales channels for farmers and support Boeun jujube to establish itself as a global agricultural product representing the Republic of Korea."
