예산군과 예산경찰서는 14일 군청 상황실에서 상호 전문교육을 통한 치안 강화 업무협약을 체결했다.

이번 협약은 지역사회 안전망을 강화하고 실무 중심 협업 체계를 구축하여, 신속 대응 공조를 통해 지역사회 안전 확보와 범죄 예방에 기여하기 위해 추진됐다.

협약에 따라 군은 관제시스템 실무교육과 영상정보(개인정보) 사후 관리 교육을 경찰관에게 제공해 현장 대응 역량을 강화한다.

경찰서는 관제요원을 대상으로 범죄예방, 교통, 생활안전 분야 교육과 정보 공유를 통해 관제요원의 대응 능력을 높일 예정이다.

최재구 군수는 "이번 협약을 통해 단순한 정보 공유를 넘어 실질적인 교육 협력으로 군민의 안전을 지키는 데 큰 시너지를 낼 것으로 기대한다"며 "앞으로도 경찰과 긴밀히 협력해 안전한 예산을 만들어가겠다"고 밝혔다.
