충북 진천군이 겨울철 조류독감 발생을 예방하기 위해 특별방역 대책을 추진 중이라고 13일 밝혔다.
방역 대상은 관내 94개(닭 62, 오리 30, 메추리 2) 가금 농가다. 9월 22일 대책을 추진해 2026년 2월까지 운영된다.
군은 현재 관내 가금 농가 방역 점검을 마쳤다. 미흡한 1개 농가에 대해서는 보완 조치를 완료했다.
관내 거점소독소(진천읍, 덕산읍, 초평면) 3개소는 시설 개보수를 끝냈다. 2026년 2월까지 24시간 운영한다.
군은 관내 철새도래지 신규 지정, 출입 통제 공고와 함께 가금농장 전담 관제 1:1 매칭(공무원:농가)을 통해 예찰을 강화하고 있다.
특별방역 대책 기간 중에는 가금 농가 방역 수칙 행정명령을 시행해 실효성을 확보할 계획이다.
윤성호 군 축산유통과 주무관은 "군은 앞으로 과거 AI 발생 농장과 야생조류 분변 검출 지역이 반영된 방역전략지도를 구축해 차단방역을 추진할 계획"이라며 "10만수 이상 산란계 농장 통제초소 운영, 동절기 오리 농가 휴지기제 대상 농가 최종 선정 등을 통해 빈틈없는 방역 대책을 추진하겠다"고 밝혔다.

Jincheon County, North Chungcheong Province announced on the 13th that it is promoting special quarantine measures to prevent the occurrence of avian influenza in winter.
The quarantine target is 94 poultry farms in the jurisdiction (62 chickens, 30 ducks, 2 quails). The measures were promoted on September 22 and will operate until February 2026.
The county has currently completed quarantine inspections of poultry farms in the jurisdiction. Complementary measures have been completed for one insufficient farm.
Three base disinfection centers in the jurisdiction (Jincheon-eup, Deoksan-eup, Chopyeong-myeon) have completed facility renovations. They will operate 24 hours until February 2026.
The county is strengthening surveillance through newly designating migratory bird habitats in the jurisdiction, announcing access control, and 1:1 matching of dedicated poultry farm control (official:farm).
During the special quarantine measure period, administrative orders for poultry farm quarantine rules will be implemented to secure effectiveness.
Yoon Seong-ho, an official in charge of the county's livestock distribution department, said, "The county plans to establish a quarantine strategy map that reflects past AI outbreak farms and wild bird feces detection areas and promote blocking quarantine," and "We will promote thorough quarantine measures through operating control posts for layer farms with more than 100,000 birds and final selection of target farms for the duck farm rest period system in winter."
