◆ 2026년 1월 12일부터 예산 소진 시까지 지원
단양군은 1월 12일부터 단체관광객 유치 인센티브 지원사업을 시행한다. 지원 기간은 예산 소진 시까지이며, 7월 1일부터 8월 31일까지는 제외된다.
지원 대상은 관광진흥법에 따라 여행업 등록을 완료한 전국 여행사와 수학여행 조건에 적합한 각급 학교다. 신청은 방문 7일 전 사전계획서를 제출하고, 여행 종료 후 20일 이내 인센티브를 신청하면 된다.
◆ 당일형 1만원·숙박형 2만원 지원
당일형은 관내 관광지 2개소(유료 관광지 1개소 이상)와 음식점 1개소(1인당 7천원 이상)를 이용하면 내국인 10명 이상 단체는 1인당 1만원, 외국인 단체는 1인당 1만5천원을 받는다.
숙박형은 관광지 4개소(유료 관광지 2개소 이상), 음식점 2개소, 숙박업소 1박 이용 시 내국인 단체는 1인당 2만원, 외국인 단체는 1인당 3만원을 지원한다. 외국인 관광객 인센티브는 2026년부터 인상됐다.
◆ 수학여행 당일형 5천원·숙박형 1만원
수학여행은 당일형의 경우 유료 관광지 1개소와 음식점 1개소 이용 시 10명 이상 기준 1인당 5천원을 지원한다. 숙박형은 관광지 3개소(유료 관광지 2개소 이상), 음식점 2개소, 숙박업소 1박 이용 시 1인당 1만원을 받는다.
접수는 등기우편으로 하며, 사전계획서는 전자우편 접수도 가능하다. 접수처는 단양군청 관광과 관광기획팀(043-420-2907)이다.
단양군 관계자는 "이번 인센티브는 숙박과 지역 소비로 이어지는 체류형 관광 확대가 목적"이라며 "여행사와 학교의 참여를 통해 단양 관광 경쟁력을 높이겠다"고 밝혔다.

Danyang-gun implements group tourist incentive support project from January 12. The support period continues until budget exhaustion, excluding July 1 to August 31.
Support targets are travel agencies nationwide registered under the Tourism Promotion Act and schools suitable for school trip conditions. Applications require submission of a preliminary plan 7 days before the visit and incentive application within 20 days after trip completion.
◆ 10,000 won for day trips, 20,000 won for overnight stays
Day trips receive 10,000 won per person for domestic groups of 10 or more and 15,000 won per person for foreign groups when using 2 local tourist sites (including at least 1 paid site) and 1 restaurant (minimum 7,000 won per person).
Overnight stays receive 20,000 won per person for domestic groups and 30,000 won per person for foreign groups when using 4 tourist sites (including at least 2 paid sites), 2 restaurants, and 1 night accommodation. Foreign tourist incentives increased from 2026.
◆ School trips: 5,000 won for day trips, 10,000 won for overnight stays
School trips receive 5,000 won per person for groups of 10 or more on day trips using 1 paid tourist site and 1 restaurant. Overnight trips receive 10,000 won per person when using 3 tourist sites (including at least 2 paid sites), 2 restaurants, and 1 night accommodation.

A Danyang-gun official stated, "This incentive aims to expand stay-type tourism leading to accommodation and local consumption," adding, "We will enhance Danyang tourism competitiveness through participation of travel agencies and schools."
