충남교육청은 12일부터 14일까지 한국기술교육대학교 제1캠퍼스에서 직업계고 교육과정 컨설턴트 양성과정 2기를 운영한다고 밝혔다. 도내 직업계고 교원 19명이 참여한다.

◆실습 중심 프로그램 운영

양성과정은 직업계고 학점제 정착과 교육과정 설계·운영 지원을 목표로 한다. 프로그램은 직업계고 정책 변화와 학점제 운영 핵심 이슈, NCS 기반 교육과정 편성 실습, 학교 맞춤형 컨설팅 구조 이해, 실제 학교 사례를 적용한 팀 기반 컨설팅 실습, 컨설팅 시뮬레이션과 체크리스트 활용 등으로 구성했다. 가상 학교 사례를 활용한 진단·분석·컨설팅 보고서 작성 실습과 교육청 장학사와 컨설턴트 역할을 분담한 실전 컨설팅 시뮬레이션을 통해 현장 활용 가능한 역량 강화에 중점을 뒀다.

◆전국 10대 우수학교 2곳 선정 성과

충남교육청은 지난해 12월 10일 개최된 2025년 직업계고 학점제·교육과정 운영 성과보고회에서 전국 10대 교육과정 우수학교 중 도내 2개 학교가 선정되는 성과를 거뒤다. 전영배 미래인재과장은 "교육과정 컨설턴트는 직업계고 학점제가 현장에 안착하는 데 핵심 역할을 담당한다"며 "양성과정을 통해 학교의 실제 고민을 함께 해결할 수 있는 전문 컨설턴트가 지속적으로 성장하길 기대한다"고 말했다.

◆맞춤형 컨설팅 확대 계획

충남교육청은 양성과정 수료자를 중심으로 학교 맞춤형 교육과정 컨설팅을 확대하고, 직업계고 학점제 운영 지원 체계를 강화할 계획이다.

Chungnam Office of Education Trains 19 Vocational High School Curriculum Consultants in Second Cohort

Three-day practice-oriented program at Korea Tech runs through Wednesday to support credit system implementation

The Chungnam Office of Education announced it is operating the second cohort of the vocational high school curriculum consultant training program from the 12th to the 14th at the first campus of Korea University of Technology and Education. Nineteen vocational high school teachers from the province are participating.

◆Practice-Oriented Program Operation

The training program aims to establish the vocational high school credit system and support curriculum design and operation. The program consists of policy changes in vocational high schools and core issues in credit system operation, NCS-based curriculum organization practice, understanding of school-customized consulting structure, team-based consulting practice applying actual school cases, and consulting simulation and checklist utilization. The program focused on strengthening field-applicable competencies through practice in writing diagnosis, analysis, and consulting reports using virtual school cases and practical consulting simulation in which education office supervisors and consultants share roles.

◆Achievement of Two Schools Selected Among National Top 10

The Chungnam Office of Education achieved results with two schools in the province selected among the national top 10 curriculum excellent schools at the 2025 Vocational High School Credit System and Curriculum Operation Performance Report held on December 10 last year. Jeon Young-bae, director of the Future Talent Division, said, "Curriculum consultants play a key role in establishing the vocational high school credit system in the field," adding, "We expect professional consultants who can solve actual school concerns together to grow continuously through this training program."

◆Plan to Expand Customized Consulting

The Chungnam Office of Education plans to expand school-customized curriculum consulting centered on training program graduates and strengthen the vocational high school credit system operation support system.
