◆ 그림책으로 나를 찾다
보은교육도서관(관장 최경희)은 겨울방학을 맞아 관내 초등학생을 대상으로 '그림책 독서 교실'을 운영한다. 프로그램은 1월 20일부터 23일까지 4일간 초등학교 3학년부터 6학년까지 학생을 대상으로 진행된다.
도서관은 김준영 작가의 『난 남달라』를 포함한 다양한 그림책을 활용한다. 학생들은 책 속 주인공을 통해 자신의 모습을 돌아보고 긍정적인 자아상을 형성하는 활동으로 구성된다.
◆ 영어 문화 체험하는 독서 교실
'영어 독서 교실'은 관기초등학교 엄상진 교사의 재능 기부로 3년째 진행되는 프로그램이다. 1월 27일부터 30일까지 4일간 초등학교 1학년부터 6학년까지 학생을 대상으로 운영된다.
학생들은 『A Dog of Flanders』, 『A Little Princess』 등 영문 그림책을 함께 읽으며 영어권 문화와 표현을 익힌다. 도서관은 실생활과 연계한 활동을 통해 학생들의 영어 자신감 향상을 목표로 한다.

◆ Finding Myself Through Picture Books
Boeun Education Library (Director Choi Kyung-hee) is operating a "Picture Book Reading Classroom" for elementary students in the area during the winter break. The program runs from January 20 to 23 for four days, targeting students from 3rd to 6th grade.
The library utilizes various picture books, including "I'm Different" by author Kim Jun-young. Students examine themselves through main characters in the books and develop positive self-image through structured activities.
◆ English Reading Classroom Experiencing English Culture
The "English Reading Classroom" is a program in its third consecutive year through volunteer teaching by Eom Sang-jin, a teacher at Gwanggi Elementary School. The program runs from January 27 to 30 for four days, targeting students from 1st to 6th grade.
Students read English picture books such as "A Dog of Flanders" and "A Little Princess" together, naturally acquiring English-speaking culture and expressions. The library aims to improve students' confidence in English through activities linked to real-life situations.
