충북 옥천군이 고향사랑기부금 8억3000여만원을 조성했다. 옥천군이 5일 이 같은 내용을 밝혔다. 모금 기간은 2023년부터 2025년까지 3년간이다.

연도별 모금액은 2023년 2억7884만원(1849명), 2024년 2억6576만원(1914명), 2025년 2억8577만원이다. 2024년 모금액이 감소한 이유는 고액기부자가 줄었기 때문이다.

◆ 고향사랑기부제 개요

고향사랑기부제는 개인이 주민등록상 거주지를 제외한 지역에 기부금을 내는 제도다. 기부 한도는 연 500만원이다. 기부자는 세액공제 혜택을 받는다. 기부자는 기부액의 30% 범위에서 답례품을 제공받는다. 농어촌 지자체는 이 재원으로 부족한 재정을 보충한다.

◆ 복지사업에 기부금 활용

옥천군은 고향사랑기부금을 복지사업에 활용했다. 옥천군은 '경로당 양념꾸러미 지원사업'을 시행했다. 옥천군은 '영유아 상해보험 일괄가입지원사업'도 시행했다.

옥천군의 첫 지정기부사업은 '예체능 꿈나무 지원'이다. 이 사업은 지역 청소년 배구부를 후원한다.

Okcheon-gun in Chungbuk raised approximately 830 million won in Hometown Love Donations. Okcheon-gun announced this on January 5. The fundraising period spans three years from 2023 to 2025.

Annual donations were 278.84 million won (1,849 donors) in 2023, 265.76 million won (1,914 donors) in 2024, and 285.77 million won in 2025. The decrease in 2024 donations resulted from fewer large donors.

The Hometown Love Donation System allows individuals to donate to regions outside their registered residence. The annual donation limit is 5 million won. Donors receive tax deduction benefits. Donors receive return gifts within 30% of their donation amount. Rural local governments use these funds to supplement insufficient finances.

◆ Donations Used for Welfare Programs

Okcheon-gun used Hometown Love Donations for welfare programs. Okcheon-gun implemented the "Senior Center Seasoning Package Support Project." Okcheon-gun also implemented the "Infant Accident Insurance Enrollment Support Project."

Okcheon-gun's first designated donation project is "Arts and Sports Youth Support." This project sponsors the local youth volleyball team.
