◆ 괴산문화예술회관 송년음악회 객석 가득 메워

충북 괴산군이 4일 저녁 괴산문화예술회관에서 송년음악회를 열었다. 객석은 군민들로 가득 찼다. 60대 괴산읍 주민은 "TV로만 보던 가수를 직접 보러 왔다"며 "집 근처에서 이런 공연을 볼 수 있어 신기하다"고 말했다. 어르신부터 학생까지 다양한 연령층이 한 시간 넘게 공연장을 지켰다.

◆ 문화예술행사 미관람률 도내 최고…농촌 지역 공연 기피 현실

2025년 충북사회조사에 따르면 괴산군 주민 71.1%가 지난 1년간 문화예술행사를 한 번도 관람하지 않았다. 도내 시군 가운데 가장 높은 수치다. 공연과 전시가 도시에 집중되고 민간 기획사들이 수익성을 이유로 농촌 지역을 기피한 결과다. 이번 송년음악회는 퓨전국악 클래식 대중가요 트로트 등 여러 장르를 한 무대에 올렸다.

◆ 민선 8기 이후 읍면 단위 공연 확대…올해 15회 진행

괴산군은 민선 8기 이후 도심 집중 공연을 읍면 단위로 분산하는 정책을 추진했다. 올해 구석구석 문화배달 우리동네 문화난장 8회와 충북공연페스타 4회와 극단 꼭두광대 공연 3회 등 총 15회 공연을 군 전역에서 진행했다. 장소도 문화예술회관 외에 관광지와 마을 공간으로 넓혔다. 송인헌 괴산군수는 "일상 가까운 곳에서 문화의 즐거움을 느낄 수 있도록 지속적으로 문화 정책을 추진하겠다"고 밝혔다.

This year-end concert featured fusion Korean traditional music classical music popular songs and trot on one stage.

◆ Performances Expanded to Town and Township Levels Since 8th Popularly Elected Administration…15 Events Held This Year

Goesan County has pursued policies to distribute city-centered performances to town and township levels since the 8th popularly elected administration. This year the county held 15 performances across the county including 8 sessions of Culture Delivery to Every Corner Our Neighborhood Culture Festival and 4 sessions of North Chungcheong Performance Festa and 3 performances by resident theater troupe Kkokdu Gwangdae. Venues expanded beyond the Culture and Arts Center to tourist sites and village spaces. Goesan County Governor Song In-heon stated "We will continuously promote cultural policies so residents can enjoy culture close to their daily lives."
