온라인 도박, 청소년 쉽게 노출된다…청양군 포럼서 예방대책 논의

청양군 김돈곤 군수가 청소년 도박 문제의 실태를 진단하고 예방·조기 개입 정책을 수립하기 위한 포럼을 개최했다. 청양군청소년재단 윤여권 이사장과 청양군청소년상담복지센터 박시연 센터장은 지난 26일 충남사회적경제혁신타운에서 '2025년 청양군 청소년 도박문제 실태 및 예방 정책 포럼'을 열었다. 청소년·유관 기관·지역사회 관계자 약 50명이 참석했다.

◆ 온라인 도박 노출 심각성 공유

포럼에서 청양군청소년상담복지센터가 실시한 청소년 도박중독 실태조사 결과가 발표됐다. 조사에서 청소년들이 온라인 도박에 쉽게 노출되는 실태가 확인됐다. 박지수 청운대학교 교수는 '보호를 넘어 성장으로, 유혹에 흔들리지 않는 힘'을 주제로 발표했다. 박시연 센터장이 실태조사 결과를 제시했다. 문호걸 정산중학교 교사는 학교 현장에서 관찰하는 도박문제 사례를 공유했다. 이승희 대전충남도박문제예방치유센터 센터장은 도박 예방 및 치료 방법에 관한 전문 의견을 제시했다.

◆ 학교·경찰·지역사회 협력 강조

이어진 패널 토론에서 참석자들은 도박문제 해결을 위해 학교·경찰서·민간 및 관공서 협력 체계 구축이 필수라고 지적했다. 한 관계자는 "청소년이 생각보다 쉽게 온라인 도박에 노출될 수 있다는 사실이 중요하다. 다양한 기관과 지역사회가 함께 조기 개입이 가능한 체계를 구축하겠다"고 밝혔다. 박재영 과장은 "이번 포럼은 지자체·청소년재단·유관기관이 청소년 도박 문제를 함께 고민하는 시간이었다. 포럼에서 나온 정책 제언을 심도 깊게 검토하여 시행 정책에 반영하겠다"고 말했다.

A related official stated, "It is important to recognize that youth can be exposed to online gambling more easily than expected. We will work with various institutions and communities to build a system that enables early intervention." Director Park Jae-young said, "This forum was a time for local governments, youth foundations, and related agencies to collectively address youth gambling problems. We will thoroughly review the policy recommendations from the forum and reflect them in implemented policies."
