마을-학교 연결고리 강화... 충남교육청 교육과정 우수사례 공유

◆ 행사 개최, 마을교육과정 질 향상

충남교육청은 1월 20일 충청남도교육연수원(공주)에서 '2025 마을기반 교육과정 자율학교 성과보고회 및 신규학교 담당자 배움자리'를 개최했다. 김지철 교육감 공약사항인 본 사업은 학교 교육과정과 마을을 유기적으로 연결하고 학생의 의미 있는 배움과 성장을 지원한다. 행사에는 2025년 운영학교 30교, 2026년 신규 지정학교 30교의 교감과 담당교사, 14개 시도 교육지원청 장학사, 학습연구년 희망 교사 등 100여 명이 참석했다.

◆ 학교급별 우수사례 공유, 신규학교 실무 지원

행사는 마을교육과정 개발·운영 사례, 마을학교 연계 초등 교육과정 운영, 중등 마을학교 연계 등 다양한 학교급별 우수사례 발표로 진행됐다. 충남교육청은 2026학년도 운영 방향과 행정사항을 안내해 신규 지정학교가 실질적으로 교육과정을 준비할 수 있도록 지원했다. 특히 촉진자(퍼실리테이터)가 참여한 '소통의 장' 분임토의를 운영해 운영학교와 신규 지정학교 담당자들이 고민을 공유하고 해결 방안을 모색하는 시간을 마련했다.

◆ 질적 성장 기대, 마을교육공동체 확산

송하종 정책기획과장은 "마을과 학교의 유기적 협력은 학생들에게 의미 있는 배움과 성장을 제공하는 중요한 기반"이라며 "성과 공유와 신규학교 지원을 통해 충남형 마을교육과정이 더욱 공고히 자리 잡도록 지속적으로 뒷받침하겠다"고 말했다. 충남교육청은 이번 성과보고회를 통해 우수사례 확산, 학교-마을 연계 강화, 신규 지정교의 역량 제고 등 마을기반 교육과정 운영의 질적 성장을 기대하고 있다.

The Chungnam Office of Education held the '2025 Community-Based Education Curriculum Autonomous School Performance Report Session and New School Administrator Learning Meeting' on January 20 at the Chungcheongnam-do Education Training Institute in Gongju. This initiative, a key campaign promise of Superintendent Kim Ji-chul, organically connects school curriculum with communities and supports meaningful student learning and growth. The event was attended by approximately 100 participants, including vice principals and teachers from 30 operating schools in 2025 and 30 newly designated schools in 2026, curriculum specialists from 14 provincial and city offices of education, and teachers interested in the learning research year program.

◆ School-Level Best Practices Shared, Hands-on Support for New Schools

The event proceeded with presentations of best practices including community curriculum development and operation, elementary education curriculum linked with community schools, and secondary community school connections. The Chungnam Office of Education provided guidelines on 2026 operational directions and administrative procedures, enabling newly designated schools to substantively prepare their curricula. In particular, the office organized a 'Communication Forum' discussion group with participation from facilitators, providing an opportunity for staff from operating schools and newly designated schools to share concerns and explore solutions together.
