◆ 정례회 개회, 11월 20일부터 12월 15일까지

공주시의회 의장 임달희는 11월 20일 제262회 제2차 정례회를 개회했다. 이번 정례회는 11월 20일부터 12월 15일까지 26일간 진행된다.

제1차 본회의에서 권경운 의원은 차량안심번호 서비스 도입 방안을 제안했다. 이상표 의원은 공주시청 씨름팀 재창단을 촉구했다. 구본길 의원은 산업단지 허가 절차 검증 문제를 지적했다. 3명의 의원이 각각 5분 발언을 진행했다.

◆ 2026년도 예산안 등 주요 안건 심의

이번 정례회에서 심의할 주요 안건은 2026년도 예산안, 기금운용계획안, 조례안, 민간위탁 동의안 등이다.

◆ 일정 확정, 12월 15일 폐회

주요 일정으로는 21일부터 25일까지 상임위원회 활동을 진행한다. 26일부터 27일까지 2025년도 제3회 추가경정예산안을 심사한다. 28일 제2차 본회의, 12월 1일 제3차 본회의를 개최한다. 12월 2일부터 12월 12일까지 2026년도 예산안과 기금운용계획안을 심사한다. 12월 15일 제4차 본회의로 폐회한다.

임달희 의장은 개회사에서 "집행부 제출 예산이 적재적소에 편성되었는지 세심하게 검토하겠다"고 말했다. 또한 "한 해 동안 시민과 함께 걸어온 길을 되돌아보고 더 나은 공주의 내일을 위해 끊임없이 고민하고 노력하겠다"고 밝혔다.

Council Chair Lim Dal-hee of Gongju City Council opened the 262nd Second Regular Session on November 20. The session runs for 26 days from November 20 to December 15.

At the first plenary session, Councilor Kwon Gyeong-un proposed adoption of a vehicle safety identification number service. Councilor Lee Sang-pyo urged the reestablishment of the Gongju City Hall wrestling team. Councilor Gu Bon-gil pointed out procedural verification issues in industrial complex permits. Three councilors each delivered five-minute speeches.

◆ Review of 2026 Budget and Major Agenda Items

The council will review the 2026 budget, fund management plan, ordinance bills, private outsourcing consent bills, and other major agenda items during this session.

Major schedule includes standing committee activities from November 21-25. The council reviews the 2025 third supplementary budget from November 26-27. The second plenary session convenes on November 28, and the third plenary session on December 1. The council reviews the 2026 budget and fund management plan from December 2-12. The fourth plenary session on December 15 concludes the session.

Council Chair Lim Dal-hee stated in the opening address, "I will carefully review whether budgets submitted by the executive branch are appropriately allocated." He added, "I will reflect on the path we have taken with citizens over the past year and continue to deliberate and work toward a better future for Gongju."
