◆행사 개최

대전시의회 행정자치위원회 정명국 위원장은 20일 시의회 행정자치위원장실에서 가양1·가양2·용전·성남동 지역사회보장협의체 정책간담회를 개최했다. 정 위원장은 국민의힘 소속 동구 3지역구 의원으로 행정자치위원회를 이끌고 있다.

간담회에 박종식 가양1동, 박광열 가양2동, 이보출 용전동, 이부원 성남동 지역사회보장협의체 위원장과 협의체 위원들이 참석했다. 이정선 대전시 복지정책과장도 함께했다. 참석자들은 각 동 협의체 활동 사례, 지역복지 사각지대 발굴 과정, 특화사업 추진 현황을 공유했다. 2026년 협의체 운영 예산과 민·관 협력 강화를 위한 제도적 보완책을 함께 논의했다.

정명국 위원장은 "지역사회보장협의체가 주민과 가장 가까운 곳에서 복지 현장을 직접 살피고 위기 상황을 가장 먼저 발견하는 핵심적인 지역 복지 안전망"이라고 강조했다. 이어 "현장에서 체감할 수 있는 실질적 지원이 이루어지도록 시와 자치구 간 협력 구조를 점검하겠다"고 덧붙였다. 정 위원장은 "오늘 제기된 의견들이 향후 지역사회보장계획 수립과 예산 논의 과정에서 충분히 반영될 수 있도록 의회 차원에서 적극적으로 뒷받침하겠다"고 말했다.
