◆구수환 PD 초청 특강
충북고등학교(교장 홍순두)는 11월 10일 2학년 전교생을 대상으로 인성교육 특강을 개최했다. (사)이태석 재단 이사장인 구수환 프로듀서를 초청해 '세계가 주목하는 이태석 리더십'을 주제로 1시간 동안 진행했다. 특강은 故 이태석 신부의 인성 실천 사례를 영상과 강의로 소개하고, 학생들이 자신의 경험을 성찰하는 방식으로 진행됐다.
◆리더십 핵심 자질 강조
구수환 PD는 KBS 추적 60분 진행 및 종군기자 경력을 바탕으로 강연했다. 좋은 리더가 갖춰야 할 핵심 자질로 진심, 경청, 공감, 이타주의를 제시했다. 현재 대학이 리더십 역량을 중요하게 평가하고 있으며, 수시 면접에서 행복의 기준, 타인 배려, 공동체 기여 자세를 요구한다고 설명했다. 강연 소감을 발표한 학생 10명에게는 구수환 PD 저서를 선물로 증정했다.
◆인성교육 지속 추진
허진영 학생은 "초등학교 때부터 故 이태석 신부에게 관심이 많았다"며 "이번 특강을 통해 신부님의 생애와 봉사 정신을 더 깊이 이해했고, 선한 영향력을 전하는 프로듀서가 되고 싶다"고 밝혔다. 충북고등학교는 '인성을 품은 학교' 운영교로 학생들의 바른 인성과 시민 의식을 기르기 위한 교육 활동을 지속적으로 추진하고 있다.

The lecture introduced examples of character practice by the late Father Lee Tae-seok through videos and lectures, allowing students to reflect on their own experiences.
◆Emphasis on Core Leadership Qualities
PD Koo Soo-hwan delivered the lecture based on his experience as host of KBS Chasing 60 Minutes and as a war correspondent. He presented sincerity, listening, empathy, and altruism as core qualities that good leaders must possess. He explained that universities currently evaluate leadership competency as important, and that rolling admissions interviews require standards of happiness, consideration for others, and attitudes toward contributing to the community. Students who presented their lecture reflections received books written by PD Koo as gifts.
◆Continued Character Education
Student Heo Jin-young stated, "I have been interested in the late Father Lee Tae-seok since elementary school. Through this lecture, I gained a deeper understanding of his life and spirit of service, and I want to become a producer who delivers positive influence to people." Chungbuk High School operates as a "School Embracing Character" and continuously promotes educational activities to develop students' proper character and mature civic consciousness.
